  1. I have a package deal for sale. This deal contains;- One 38 cm Petri, polished, because of corrosion, see photo's.- One 35 cm Petri. Pretty OK.- One original Petri 02 hub, has a horn button contact ring now, easy fix to a contact pin. I will add a brandnew contact pin.- One brand new reproduction hub cover. You won't see the difference.- One fresh painted horn button ring.- One original Petri horn button.Note;- The hub has a repair, visible in the pictures. Some crazy fool shortened it, but I managed to repair it ( see last photos )- The grip of the 38 Petri has been glued. Besides that, it has some scars. All checked and I wouldn't sell it if it wasn't safe to use.Have a good look at the photos, because what you see is what you get.Feel free to ask me any questions!
  2. Beautiful seventies Ferrero in stunning condition and desirable size! Comes with an Alpina horn button or a BMW horn button and a brand new hub. Will fit all 02 models.
  3. It took me a while to identify this steering wheel that came in my NK, but I've finally identified it as a 1600-2 wheel (not from a 2000CS like I initially thought). As it's not correct in my NK (2000), I'm offering up here for anyone who'd like it. The wheel is dated 02 05 67 (May 2, 1967). Asking $200 OBO. While it's in relatively good condition for a 50+ year old item, it does have some issues (see photos for details): - Missing center pad - Horn ring has pitting in chrome - Two cracks between center area and wheel (where your thumbs would rest) Overall, the wheel is perfectly useable -- the chrome can likely be polished-up to an "acceptable driver standard" or can be removed and re-plated. The cracks don't affect functionality. Open to offers or trades for NK parts.
  4. Just finished refurbishing this 320is sport steering wheel (380mm) steering wheel and well, don't have an extra 2002 to put it in at the moment, so it's up for grabs! Wheel has been cleaned, spokes re-dyed, and I hand stitched on brand new leather (from ALGA). This particular cut of leather has a lot of nice texture to it, feels more like glove leather than the normal smoother leather that you normally see on steering wheels. Complete with the horn button, but I don't have the shroud trim (you can get a brand new one here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/steering-column-trim-cover/32331120194/) and you'll need to reuse the original 2002 turn signal cancelling ring and pogo spring pin for the horn. $250 shipped withing the continental US. Also have an ALGA leather shift boot that I can include for an additional $25. I found it to be a bit shorter than the stock vinyl boot, so I decided to make my own longer one instead, but this would be great on any short shifter. Please PM me if interested and if you'd like any additional pictures.
  5. This wheel has the textured grip around the rim, it is not smooth plastic. I've been informed by a forum member this is off of a 76 02. Grip is in nice shape and firm to the wheel. One crack at the bottom base, another small one on the back of one spoke. I do not have the correct pad for the wheel. Asking $100 shipped to U.S. only with paypal (friends preferred)
  6. I know its a long shot, but I always figure its best to leave no stone unturned. Looking for a 3-spoke, 38cm, black, Momo Alpina (Prototipo style) steering wheel that was a standard on the e9 CSL. Willing to pay cash and/or I have some very cool and unique wheels that I could potentially offer for trade/partial trade. Please PM me with any questions, leads or potential deals. Pictures are examples of what I am looking for:
  7. Need a cheap 320is steering wheel, can be in crappy to even uncovered condition, want to practice trying to make a new leather cover for one before I do it for real on my car. PM me, thanks!
  8. Very nice badge for the steering wheel pad on 74-76 cars. $14 price includes shipping to the US with paypal Friends (preferred.) 3rd pic represents part on pad
  9. Sold all my 02's a while back, but still finding parts in the garage. 3 spoke steering wheel. Leather and stitching in fair condition. Not sure what this came off of. No horn button. 100 OBO + you pay all the shipping and packaging.
  10. Need some help sourcing some finishing touch bits. Would love to recover the leather on my 320is sport steering wheel. I'll cut and see my own if need be, but does antineoplastic know if there's a source for the pre-cut leather? Second, the white lettering for all of my dashboard controls is pretty much gone, are there replacement decals or stencils or a known good method for redoing this? Lastly, there are a few years in my headliner. Short of replacing the whole thing (a big job that I want to wait until I have other needs to remove the glass), is there a good way too do some small patches? Doesn't need to look perfect, just improved. Thanks!

  17. Hello all, I've been looking at the vast array of steering wheels everyone is using. I am undecided on whether or not to replace my stock wheel, but thought this would be a good time to create an updated repository of steering wheels that or community is using. There is one thread that discuses this but the search engine can't seem to find it and I can't recall if the images still work. So, I would really appreciate it if you could share as much of the following as you can: Image of your non-stock steering wheel Wheel brand, style and diameter What type and depth of adapter you are using Whether it works with the horn and turn signals Your overall impression of the wheel. As always, your input is greatly appreciated by me and by others in the 2002 community. Thanks, Scott

  20. I sell my rare Momo GT (code M20340 GT/Prototipo) . Condition of the wheel is good, with a few rough spots. it has a mark in the lower spoke and on the backside of the wheel there is a rough spot in the leather, visible on the pictures. The Wheel is badass and looks spot on in the interior of a BMW 02. The size is aprox. 35cm. Hard to find this wheel, but because of the few rough spots I offer this ons for $315,- usd ex shipping. it comes complete with hub and horn button. Best Regards and cheers, Bouke
  21. I went back to the original steering wheel in my Euro E21. This is in very nice shape with what I believe to be original leather, and it is holding together impressively well. Looks nice and period, not shiny/new, but no major blemishes and stitching holding together tightly. Comes w/ new horn button. Shroud that goes around hub has been professionally epoxied to the wheel; splines in good shape, too. Horn works and no funny noises when mounted. Pickup available in Warwick, Rhode Island; price is plus shipping and PayPal fees.

  24. Unique chance to buy an original black old Momo Prototipo in good condition. The leather is smooth and not dry. It has some marks of usage/ storage (?) in the leather, please have a close look at the pictures. The spokes have the original anodized black color and the Prototipo marking is also in very good condition. Stitching is all there, original and good. The wheel is very solid and a pleasure to drive with. Momo did not date their wheels up to 1976. I know my wheels, so I can date this one back to a second series Prototipo 1973 - 1975 Original series marking M20340.
