  1. Price:: 650 Location: : far far away Hey guys, i am back with a few sets of seats. sets are shipped from my home in Thailand. Shipping cost: $230 Shipping time: 8-10 weeks Tracking number provided. Seats are shipped separately. Shrink-wrapped. 2 giant boxes with tons of foam and padding. seats you see here are NOT stock photos, all are sitting in my shop now. priced $650-$1200 I do custom work on request. I have great feedback on this forum and on ebay. Please contact me with any questions. all the black color seats will match your 2002 leather texture/color, except for the sr3 with m3 stitching, that is e36/e46 texture LX with red stitching and sr3 with m3 stitching are heated. wires and switches for the heaters included
  2. I just got these guys and I'm super excited about them! I don't however know where these seats came from and have a broken knobs from shipping -Anyone know what car these came from(I think vw) -Anyone know where I can get a spare knob? And NO I haven't been sitting in them in my living room! :/ (guilty face)
  3. Price:: 750 Location: : Colorado Springs, CO These are rare sport seats, made by Wolfrace out of the UK. They are in great overall condition, with some minor wrinkling of fabric that should come out with heat and massaging. They do smell of cigarette smoke a bit - I would wash them before installing in my car. Mild sport bolstering, along the lines of a Recaro LX or Scheel 401 I think. I also have the Porsche 911/912 seat brackets and sliders available that they were used with in a 1973 911. They are certainly available but not included. Light weight - weigh right around 22-23 lbs. $750
  4. Price:: 300 Location: : Colorado Springs, CO This is a Konig driver's seat, but sure looks a lot like a Scheel 401/501, except for the leg bolsters (these are a bit higher at the end of the cushion). Good condition overall, with the obvious fabric tear and small foam damage on the upper outer bolster, an the small tear in the back. Has sliders bolted to bottom, and I have the male mates to those, as well as a beefy early 911 mounting bracket. The bracket and sliders aren't included but totally negotiable. $300 plus $75 shipping in lower 48.
  5. Price:: 300 Location: : Chicago, IL Up for sale are a driver quality set of Recaro's. Very comfortable and with some cleaning have plenty of life in the existing upholstery. There is deformation in the lower bolster on both from something resting on them while in storage. I didn't make an effort in the pictures to hide the deformation. With some carefully placed padding I believe this can be fixed and the seats will be 7.5/10; 10 being new. I can deliver these in the Chicago area and they are also available for pickup in 61326. I will crate them up for the asking price. Buyer pays shipping. Rails not included. Thanks for looking!
  6. Price:: 400 Location: : Rhode Island These are the Recaro LS seat, known as the "Trophy" interior to the VW folks. Cloth center inserts with leather bolsters and backing. No brackets/sliders included. Makes shipping far more reasonable. So, pictures of the seats are below. Some known issues but definitely good enough to use as-is. I had intended to get these re-trimmed in Pacific Blue and slide them into my E28, but I've got a new project on my hands and could use the cash more than I could use nice Recaros. Known issues: -You will want to source a new set of seat straps / diaphragms from Ardvark Racing for one of the 2 seats (I think the passenger has the good diaphragm). You can kind of see it in the photos that one seat cushion has a bit of a droop to it. -Also, one of the adjusters on the passenger seat is stuck. This is the one that if you wanted to flip it forward while sitting next to it in the car, it doesn't move. However, you can adjust the seat back using the knob on the other side. Driver's seat has full adjustability. Both seat backs lock into place securely with little slack. Well documented on the Vortex forums and I can share the link with info on the fix. -There is some cracking of the black leather as pictured on passenger thigh bolster and driver's shoulder / side bolster. I cannot tell if these were recovered at some point, but they look factory to me (in regards to what came in the GLIs). The texture is certainly correct. -Last, there is some surface rust on the headrest bracket on the driver's seat only. The other headrest mounts are fine. I would like to see $400 for these. Buyer responsible for shipping; in fact, I would greatly prefer that you make arrangements to send me a shipping label so I can just drop off and not have to worry about calculations. I cannot use Greyhound in my region due to the fact that they do not own the local bus terminal. However, there are no bases, and even FedEx can prove reasonable (and far faster/reliable) for something this size. PM with questions or if you need more photos.
  7. Price:: 250.00 Location: : Los Angeles Hey Everyone, I have a pair of vintage Recaros up for sale. The orange striping is amazing and wish I could find the fabric. Anyways moving on and removing these tomorrow so they are for sale. Obviously the fabric is past its prime and need to be recovered. Please note not photographed but the passenger seat knob is missing but still functions to adjust the seat. Located in Los Angeles area specifically Northridge. PM me for any questions. Thank you!
  8. Price:: 450 Location: : Modesto Up for sale or trade for interesting vintage seats. Decent condition, driver worn in some spots, pass is of course much better condition. $450obo Local sale preferred, but seats are currently detached backrest from bottom and ready to ship if necessary. Thanks!
  9. I'm looking for 6 rubber backrest stops for Recaro seats, as shown in the photos below (in the second photo, they are shown with the metal hinge rests on which these stops mount). The stops can be new or used, original or reproduction. Porsche 911's of the same vintage use the same backrest stops. The Sierra Madre Collection was re-producing these, labeling them as part number 901.521.191.00, but has permanently ceased production. I don't know the precise year range for which this exact part was used. I need them for 3 '72-'73 Recaro idealsitz-s seats. I've seen notes and have evidence that they are actually "handed," and thus might have two different part numbers, but Sierra Madre was producing a one-part-fits-both-sides reproduction and the remnants of the 6 old stops show 4 stops marked "R" (rechts), 1 stop marked "L" (links), and 1 stop too damaged to have a mark. So "handed-ness" had long been thrown out the window! I'll also post a WTB ad on Pelican Parts, but there are a lot of Recaro and Porsche fans here as well. Please contact me via email: khfstc@aol.com Thanks and regards, Steve
  10. Hey! I was wondering before buying, which Recaro seats are looking the best in a 02? I've sat in a Recaro Speed, and it's definitely awesome, but I am afraid it would look too much out of place for a 70s car. What do you think? Does somebody have pics with those seats in a 02? Are they heavier than 320i recaros? Because weight is an important factor too. Thanks!
  11. Good afternoon all I have a pair of used Recaro seats for sale, local Vancouver Canada pickup only. They are in need of some repair. The need the bottom straps replaced as they are missing completely (I still drove home from California on them), and the plastic bits for the adjusters are beat up. . They are being sold as is, they are good pair to have repaired and recovered. $450 CDN firm. The seat adapters are about $230 CDN alone. So you are getting Recaro seats for $220. Let me know if you have any questions.
  12. I'm getting close on my 02 project, so it's time to clean out some accumulated stuff. I'd prefer pickup but I'll ship at your cost. Pair of E21 Recaros in good condition $500. 14. Hey, I just acquired these old school Recaros LSC, I think they are super cool but wont match my car. Was wondering if anyone would trade some black E21 recaros for them. The driver seats is torn on the ass area. Should I recover them or sell and try to buy some E21 seats? ideas?
  15. Up for sale is a 320is donor car that I bought for my next 2002 build. I would prefer to sell whole, but will part it if I have to. 204,XXX, 5 speed, recaros, 3.91 LSD, sport steering wheel etc. Located an hour south of Portland, Oregon. I purchased the car out of a driveway, it had been left in his mothers driveway when the owner moved to California after college. After talking to him he has owned it for 22 years, and had the head completely rebuilt in 2009. In it's current state it will start and run enough to get it on a trailer, but it's not road worthy. I have driven it around my property enough to know that it shifts good, no weird noises from the rear end etc. if it doesn't sell in the immediate future I plan on cleaning/repairing the fuel system and will update this ad. Brand new in tank e21 fuel pump, cap, rotor, and plugs in the last month. Open to offers on parts, if I get enough interest I'll consider a part out. kodyroth@gmail.com
  16. I've got a set (that is, good for two seats) of Recaro seat sliders left over from a customer project. Used but in good shape. You know how expensive these are to buy new. To make it clear: these are the Recaro aftermarket seat sliders. These will NOT allow a direct bolt-up into an '02, but they will allow you to slide your Recaro or other aftermarket seats on a flat base or frame. Asking $50 for both sets (again, enough to do two seats). They sell for $125 per seat new! Willing to ship for slightly-less-than-exorbitant prices, ask if you are interested.
  17. Hi all -- My project is going a different direction (gonna sell my 2002, watch this space). I've a pair of seats that I got from Blake this spring, they're reupholstered in a grey artificial suede. They're listed on Craigslist, I'll price them at $1100 (what it cost me to get them, incl. shipping) for a Bay Area local sale through the FAQ. Cheers and thanks - Marc https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/pts/6200949914.html
  18. Photos of the latest race car build just-before it loaded onto the transporter. (Many thanks to Mike for coming down to shoot these fine photos; a portfolio of his fine work can be found at http://www.mikevillavisuals.com ). A day after the car reached its destination, it was decked-out in a Warsteiner tribute livery). Perhaps in 2017 I'll get back to that coast and race with and against it. -KB
  19. 1974 2002. For full disclosure I just purchased this car, but found a 91 M5 for sale, so one of my three has to go now. 20. I need to sell a project car and am soliciting your help in determining a price. 1969 2002, no motor or transmission Its in somewhat rough shape, and will require rockers, outer arches, and a drivers side frame rail. There are pinholes in the spare tire well and will probably need a floor patch on the drivers side. Otherwise the body is straight - no visible signs of being bumped. It's in primer grey and it rolls. It appears someone rattle-canned silver and clear - both of which are peeling off. It's been garaged since I've owned it (2 years). The rear shock towers are good. The nose is good, needing just a small patch near the lower lip. The grills are there, with one vent fin needing to be reattached. The round taillights are painted, but in decent condition This is a west coast car for most of its life. I bought it from a guy in Utah that bought it from California. The car is now located near Washington DC. I've been collecting parts for 2 years for it: m42 motor from a 1991 318is and the matching 5 speed. Good compression on all 4. Includes ECU, harness, driveshaft 3.91 lsd Recaro fronts, needing re-upholstered Rear seats from an e24 6 series, black, no blemishes a/c unit and center console replacement windshield belt trim What's a ballpark figure for selling? I'll add photos tomorrow.
  21. Want to put feelers out for anyone with a full black interior up for sale. Good "driver" quality with comfortable enough seat stuffing.
