Hello, I'm an 18 year-old looking for a BMW 2002 in the Northwest/WestCoast area! I'm turning 18 years-old on the 27th of this month (March), and am looking to purchase myself an '02 sometime in the next couple weeks...as my first car! Is that a smart idea? I am so in love with these cars, and honestly would give it the most attention needed...pretty much baby, I'm not some douche off the street who won't respect and/or give the car TLC...I've been stocking these cars for the last couple years, and just like many of you- have fallen deeply in love! Although, I at the very same time...I understand that this is a classic and will not be the most reliable car especially for a guy that's not the most mechanically experienced..although I have a close friend who owns a '02, who'd be able to help me out. I'm looking to pick something up that is as mechanically sound as possible (start 'n drive), rather than being picky about the exterior..because I'm looking to pick one up for around 3-5k! I honestly despise the idea of picking up some cheesy old Toyota Corolla for the same price...ughh... Please help, and leave me your honest opinions! Could this be a first car? Much thanks! P.S. Sorry, if I didn't explain it all that well..just kind of rambled there..but I think I got my point across! Also, if you know of any cars for my situation- PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Hello My name is Damon I work at a local car dealer in North Bend Oregon. We recently acquired a 1975 BMW 2002. This has to be the cleanest 2002 BMW I have ever seen. I was told the vehicle has 128k original miles. complete with owners manual and an original sales brochure. I know if I want information regarding this vehicle this would be the best place. I came up with the price by using Hagerty.com its not perfect but I would say based on appearance, mileage and its over all condition 15k seems fair. If you think otherwise please let me know thanks.
