  1. Looking for NOS tune up parts: plugs, plug wires, cap rotor, air cleaner element etc. for 1969 2002. My car has 15k miles and would like to keep as original as possible. Also in need of grill tim pieces (left right and center) as the ones on the car have a few dents/scrapes.
  2. Hey, I bought a 1976 2002 and it seems like a previous owner did not like his car very much. I thought it would be an easy thing to identify what the correct filter housing would be for my Holley carburator. I was wondering If anyone had an idea of where I could buy the air intake assembly housing as seen in picture #2. Worst case, I might have to customize a universal housing and solder an aluminum plate to mount in... But i'd rather not! I am also new to this forum so there may be ressources that I missed. Don't hesitate to point me in the right direction, Thanks!
  3. I have some N.O.S. genuine fuel filter PN 13 32 0 680 150 still in original bag, used in the NK 1800Ti, TiSA, 2000TI, but looks very good in any BMW 2002 or 2002ti (only mechanical fuel pump) This filter is washable, for a lifetime use, made in Germany. I added some pics installed in my 2002ti, I made a bracket very simple. $99.99 shipped to the US Continental International buyers https://www.ebay.com/itm/292291335358
  4. Looking for one exactly as pictured.
  5. Anyone have a spare in-tank fuel filter they want to sell? Found one online for $18 which seemed steep.
  6. I'm gathering parts for a major refresh on my car before Mid America. I had planned on dropping the pan and replacing the gasket and flushing the transmission, but have been debating what to do about the filter. So in looking for the part i've found two wildly different prices, and the pictures look a bit different. I could either go with one from Bav auto for 98 bucks, or one from ebay for 20. Part number 24 31 1 201 102 Question is, should i trust the $20 ebay part or bite the bullet and spend 100 bucks. OR should i just leave it alone for fear of rocking the boat and causing a more major problem before a 2500 mile trip? Thanks! http://www.bavauto.com/fland.asp?part=24%2031%201%20201%20102&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=24311201102-2002-1973-65678&gclid=Cj0KEQjw_pmoBRDu986bpISz5ZsBEiQANiuHDCA2VtnUEUVmkSK561erQ-0si2NZYn0pWZQDe5AdI-kaAlsi8P8HAQ http://www.ebay.com/itm/AT-Filter-BMW-2002-2-8-BAVARIA-2500-2800-2800CS/371074681798?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D28797%26meid%3Da03654eb2560469eaa041f992acbdbc9%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D171719831120
  7. I just received these via UPS care of Spruell racing. 2 sets of unifilters - 1 set of 2 straight; 1 set of 2 angled (cause I'm cheap and the straights were on sale). Anyhow, I'm trying on one of the angled filters and it settles like this: Kinda tight so here's the Q, does anyone see any potential issues with the filter settling on the booster? Would love some input, thanks
  8. In the various threads about the AlpinA modified ti air box, I can't seem to find an end pic. Word is that tii and ti filters will both fit the ti air box. That is not the case with mine, which has evidently been hogged out at each end to accept a larger filter. The Mahle LX255 shown is about 5" dia, the opening more like 5 1/2" dia. I'm looking for a larger filter in the same style for this box w/o modification (hope to paint it, bolt on, and go). jb

  10. Hi, everyone - I just wanted to share what looks like a good deal with all of you. I was looking to pick up oil and filter, and thought I'd check to see if I could get it all locally as cheaply as online. Turns out, AutoZone has a deal on Mobil1 stuff if you buy at least 5 quarts plus the filter. The deal goes on until September 21. All told, it brings the cost of my 6 quarts of M1 15W50 full synthetic and M1 filter from $67 down to $44. Not bad. The only potential problem is making sure they have enough of the weight you use, so you may have to go to the second or third closest store. You can use this link to see if they have it in your local store: http://www.autozone.com/deals/dealMaker/dealMaker.jsp?dealId=65780&showDealMaker=true And, no, I don't work for AutoZone.
  11. Hey guys. In the process of replacing the mesh on the fuel filter located at the bottom of the fuel sender. I got the old fabric out of the ring and have some brass mesh (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005H2VCGC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc) I thought I'd solder in. Problem is, they won't solder together. I have a Weller 240w soldering gun and I tried using flux too with no luck. I guess I have to pick up welding? lol Please give some suggestions/ideas. Thanks.
  12. I got a Filter King fuel pressure regulator and filter and was trying to find the best spot in the engine bay to mount it. This was really the only spot that it fit, but I wasn't sure if it was okay to mount it here: Please let me know if this is a bad spot for any reason. I also have new fuel line I will run to the carbs. Thanks again, couldn't work on this car w/o you guys.
