For quite some time I have wanted to replace all my chrome upper belt trim with new trim pieces. The trim line is all original and after 44 years it is scratched, dented, bent in some places and it is also peeling in some places. I know the whole chrome trim set can be purchased brand new and they are not cheap $$$. However, I can't help but think if these trim mouldings could be hand made using say for example a bead roller. Possibly using stainless steel or brass? Has anyone ever thought of this or even tried it? I haven't used a bead roller myself nor do I have one at disposal so I don't know the complexity involved. Just want to spark a conversation to see if anyone has ever had a thought of doing this? I am very keen to try this out... Some pics of my moulding and some showing what sort of curves need to be moulded to get it right. Raj
