    Manufactured Dated of November 8, 1971 is a guess based on a partially-obscured handwritten note (“  8 - 71”) written on a Park Avenue Motor Corp envelope included with the car’s documents, and a couple other nearby-VIN’s, and has not been verified by BMW Group Archives.

     

    VIN 2760043 is the 43rd U.S.-spec tii manufactured.
