    I had parted out several 02s including a few Tiis while I was racing my 02. Sold the race car and need to now get rid of the spares. Parts are listed on eBay at the link below but I will also sell anything you need directly here so message me with any needs. Prices are flexible on many things so I’m open to offers as well. http://stores.ebay.com/davenportmotorsports Just a small sample of some of the parts up for sale includes a Tii cold start wire harness, Tii cold start relay, Tii trailing arms, steering box, Tii fuel tank (I have many Tii tanks as well as standard tanks and a couple early tanks with the short filler), Tii fuel level sender in almost new condition, chrome trim, black side trim, late front nose, ‘73 rear bumper bracket rubber trim pieces, chrome license plate light covers, valve covers (Tii valve cover too), stock wheels, rust free trunk lid, glass, early chrome bumpers, door panels in various colors, switches, seats, etc, etc, etc...

    Good information in this post! 2002 visors just do not hold up well to age and use. Good to know there are some other options out there.

    What year is your 02? Also is it the wire cover you need or the bulb holder?

    You may want to put the flexible disk onto the steering box first and then try slipping the steering column into the disk. It looks like you have the disk mounted on the column already in your pic.

    You make good points but all I’m saying is paying significantly over market value for a car is what makes a rich man not rich anymore...it’s not wise and is a bad investment....it’s foolish. But as they say, to each his own.

    I do have a few square tail lenses, both left and right. I will take a look at the condition and message you back.

    You should not be running those Schroth belts without the anti-submarine piece. I had these very belts in my track car. Be sure to reinforce the floor area if you do mount this piece, the thin sheet metal of the floor isn’t enough to hold the belt in a crash.

    There is a ring around the diameter of the glass on the inside of the cluster, you need to twist off the ring to take the glass off.

    I had a ‘70 about 20 years ago. That is a nice car and color although it has the wrong grilles (from a 1600). I always like the real early cars. The quality of the interior materials is so much better and the three piece dash is the best looking in my opinion.

    With the car off disconnect the negative lead on the battery. Take a meter and put one lead on the negative battery terminal and the other lead on the negative battery cable. The meter should show a flow of current which is the drain. Move to the fuse box and remove one fuse at a time until you see no flow of current on the meter, this will be the circuit with the drain. Now you can narrow it down to the things that are on the circuit to figure out where the drain is.

    You can use a slide hammer to pull out the lock cylinder and then use a screwdriver to start the car and unlock the steering wheel. I’ve had a few parts cars over the years without keys.

    I’d want the steel one for safety’s sake...wouldn’t want the door to open in an accident from a cheapend door latch.

    I have parts from a number of 02 parts cars I’ve dismantled including some Tii, while I was racing...sold the race car now the parts must go!     Too bad the car got hit, certainly fixable. Got to wonder how many 02s are left. Between this car and the flooded one in Texas, that’s two potentially gone....not to mention the countless rust casualties.
