  1. Thank you, my brother just now found a set. Would you be a ‘go to guy’ when I come across other items I might need? I’m just getting started with the putting stuff back together and I know there will be things I need…I just don’t know what yet.
  2. Yes, that is the part. Thank you very much!
  3. I’m not sure of the name of this piece but,I am looking for the rubber/plastic inserts that the bumper shock slides into that goes into the body of the car. I have a 1976 2002 that I’m restoring and that is one of many parts I need. If anyone has one or knows where to get it , I would appreciate it.Thanks in advance, Doug.
  4. Thanks to all of the great people who helped me.
  5. Mine doesn’t come apart like that.I have a 1976.
  6. Are you guys saying there’s a filter in the mechanical fuel pump? I didn’t see a filter in there when I installed it. I did, however ,find one in the inlet to the carburetor. The filter I installed is after the pump .The gas tank was very clean from the start of our project. I’ve had the pickup tube out of the tank and it appears to be fine. What would be a good way to flush it out in case something is restricting flow there?
  7. Thanks for the reply. I will replace them . Could the plastic tube be leaking also? Thanks, Doug.
  8. I will recheck the in-tank filter . Most of the hoses are old and I think all the hoses are clamped and I will double check that also.
  9. Thanks guys, the fuel filter is after the mechanical pump. The level starts off relatively full and then draws down as the engine runs. I did use a pressure and vacuum gauge and it appears to be working on both. The thing is that the filter looks completely empty but the engine still runs.
  10. The fuel filter doesn’t keep fuel in it. The car runs but I worry about the lack of gas in it. We just recently got it running after years of being in a garage. Is there so kind of vent in the carburetor to allow the fuel filter to stay full? The carburetor is a Webber 32/36 dgav33b1. What are some possibilities to look at? Thanks, Doug.
  11. Thanks for your response. As always, you have helped me immensely.
  12. I am installing a mechanical fuel pump back into the car and was wondering if there is a certain way to do that?Like getting the cam lobe in a certain position. Thanks ,Doug.
  13. Etsy , I sent an email using the link that says ‘ click here to email me’ at the bottom of the message. Must not have gone through. Bad link? Looks like I will be using you services after I sort out the rusty floors . Thanks, Doug.
  14. Yes , the inside. How do I find Etsy?
  15. Thanks the referral and I just emailed Etsy.

  18. It’s a 1976 and it didn’t have the carpet when I bought it. So it’s good to know I need a one piece carpet when the time comes. Another question I have is , do you have a preferred vendor or vendors that you like? I’m going to need a few things! Doug.
  19. Thanks, for the response. I take it that the molded insulated pieces are not available? Do you contact glue the material to the firewall ? Thanks,Doug.
  20. I’m starting a project and I tore out the insulated formed padding at the inside of the firewall. It was total trash so it couldn’t be saved . Are those panels available and if not what are people using instead of the panels.
