  1. The inner diameter should be 3/4" or 19,05mm The original reference was 21.52.4.648.055 but no longer proposed as spare part by BMW since 2003. I think it's specific to RHD.
  2. And good luck to put the engine back on the supports. I've reinstalled mine on a table and it wasn't pièce of cake, so I assume it to be even harder in the engine bay. Do not forget to install, the pedals, electrical and braking system before the engine, it's easier in this way 😉
  3. Thank you Greg. Finally I get my original radiator refurbished. It's more expensive than an alu one, but cheaper than a new one, and it remains original.
  4. Hello, The radiator from my 1969 1800 neue klasse has a crack and leak. Looking for a replacement part 17111103731 or 17111103732, the ones I've found seem really expensive to me. I've read that 4 cylinder equiped E12 radiator (17111109986 or 17111109964) would fit a neue klasse, but they are just few buck cheaper. I've seen some aluminium recent fabrication dedicated to later 2002ti that could propose a cooling improvement. Does any one tried to fit a 2002 radiator in a 4 door neue klasse, and is it plug and play or does it need specific adjustments? Thank you
  5. I found mine at my local BMW dealer when I rebuilt my motor 2 years ago. It seems not all sizes are still available, but you should check. 6. I think the point is that BMW effectively ended up 1800ti production in 1966, but only for LHD. It seems some 1800ti RHD have been produced up to 1968.

  9. Hello, To finalize my 1800/69, I'm looking for the two bushings that fits the front bumper support bars. The OEM P/N was 51 11 5 670 114 Any one has any idea where to find them? By the way I'm also looking for the decoration plate that fit the ignition switch: 32 32 1 105 070 or NOS 32 32 1 101 849 Same request. Thank you
  10. The use of an impact gun isn't very good for the shock absorber seals. I've managed to remove and reinstall mine with a 27mm O2 sensor socket (KS Tools 455.0032, laser 3298 or BGS 1140-27) that allow to maintain the axis of the shock absorber through the window while turning the nut. master-outillage.com WWW.MASTER-OUTILLAGE.COM Edit: https://workshop.bilstein.com/en/watch-out-avoid-these-installation-mistakes/

  13. I would avoid to remove this bushing. 1st it's quite difficult to take it out 2nd you'll probably damage it and it's really difficult to find new ones because there are two different diameters. 29mm requires the bushing 32.21.2.475.055 30,8mm requires the bushing 32.21.1.115.116 The problem is that the bushing 32.21.2.475.055 seems to be too long to fit. There is an article on it in this forum: And if you try to fit the 32.21.1.115.116 in a 29 hole, you'll fail. My 1800/69 have the 29mm hole.
  14. You just have to unscrew the Nut [2], then pull the tension strut [11] out of the rubber mounting [5] backward. No trap there.

  19. The main differences between a MY1966 and a MY1967 are: A new spoiler on the driver windshield wiper arm The 2000 monogram transfer from the trunk lid to the right side or the tail panel The removal of the chrom stripes behind the rear licence plate Both introduced in october, so we can say your model is a MY1966.
  20. Maybe depending on the country? My March 1969 1800 has a green french label sticked over the black german one. And one funny fact is that the black label in german is the correct one for MY1969 (10 fuses), but the green label in french is for a MY1968 or earlier (6 fuses). It seems BMW french importer was using NOS even on new cars 😂
  21. And here is the correct wiring diagram
