Still 5 days to go. Must be the roof rack!

Beautiful looking car, though I am admittedly partial to Schwarz. I did not see it listed for sale on Oldenzaal Classics' website. Does anyone know what the dollar premium was for the luxury model back in the day and what exactly were the upgrades compared to the base?

Original Schwarz. @johnpeter must have missed this one, unreliable bots!

My daily, a 2006 330ci ZHP, is insured through Erie, but for my 74tii I go through JC Taylor in Upper Darby, PA. They require an appraisal to insure any antique or classic $50K or above. Rare the square tail light tii that has broken that magic number...yet.

@tomphot, well done and congratulations! Your car is gorgeous.

@JWT , you have a beautiful car there. I had a 76 in Sahara with AC and sunroof back in the day that was so much fun to drive. Looks like you have taken great care of yours. I am short of space as well or I would be all over this. Good luck on the sale. Hope it finds a good home.

Interesting spot for a set of speakers.

Very cool, seems like it would be a pretty unique experience. I can offer no advice other than to go and enjoy, get some good shots of your car. Cheers

My bad, here I thought the only Burlington was in VT!

You may want to think about adding a sunroof to your list especially in beautiful VT. Likely more days you will enjoy rolling back the roof than cranking up the AC but great to have both. Good luck with your search. Let us know what you end up finding, we can live vicariously.

Can't wait for the comment section when they try and sell that one on BaT!

Very tempting with the AC and sunroof, extremely reasonable price in this market.

Would there be any issues with these stone guards holding water and creating rust?
-
Very cool. Were these an option back in the day or aftermarket bling?
-
There is also the snorkel on the nose piece a tii, one hint of perhaps damage the required the original nose to be replaced.

Someone here might know the AC set-up. There has been a 73tii for sale on 2002 AD here - https://www.2002ad.com/pages/carsforsale.cfm - that appears to have a similar though slightly different set-up.

All those 02's in one place, now that's a dream backyard.

A Touring in Inka would satisfy both my desire for a Roundie and my love of Inka.

Wow, beautiful looking car. Congratulations and welcome.

@Conserv, my 74tii was purchased and serviced for many years at Manheim BMW. I have records going back to 76, including appraisals of the car by HA Boyd, long-time GM at Manheim. The second owner claims Boyd himself special ordered the car and went to Germany to pick it up in part because his wife had family there.

@fsf517@yahoo.com, thanks, I had passed over that beautiful Mintgrun. That stands as the record for an original 02, not a tii.

I have thought about getting my car appraised. The insurer requires one if you want to insure the car for above $50k. Perhaps after the factory leather seats and original door cards are reinstalled.

47 years later, still a daily driver ......

Carl, congratulations! Pretty impressive that your car is still a daily driver after 47 years and more so that it looks in great condition. I have a 74tii as well though I just acquired it back in March but they are so much fun to drive. I like them original too so glad to see that you kept the bumpers after all these years. Cheers, Charles
