  7. This 1600 is very cool and its originality is highly appealing, and I say that as a new 74 Tii owner. The BAT auction for this car has been a treat to follow with all the former owners weighing in. I have learned a lot about the car and the 1600 series, especially from 02Anders '66 Bible, a great read. Would love to have one of these in my future.

    1974 BMW 2002tii US 2781801. Legal delivery to Hoffman Motors, NYC on 6/18/74. Original Bill of Lading delivery to H.A. Boyd in Mt. Gretna, PA. The first owner of the car is unknown but the second owner believes it was a leased vehicle. The second owner purchased the car from Manheim BMW on 10/7/76 for $4539 and owned it until 2008. The first service record on 11/18/76 indicates 65,756 miles, the last record on 11/15/07 indicates 233,165 miles. Extensive body work due to corrosion and major engine work were both done in 1992.
