  5. I have some parts leftover from my 1976. 1. Gecko Coilovers 1969-1976. Street series coilovers have 24 clicks of combine compression/rebound adjustment with independent preload and ride height adjustment. The valving and spring rates are designed for street and mild track/autoX use. These also include adjustable camber plates. Your strut body must be cut and these fitted and welded. I only put the rear coils on and they have maybe 20 miles, never got around to doing the fronts so they are fresh. Still have the original box and instructions. DANJER Motorsports sells these for $1030 shipped. Get these for $930 shipped with PayPal protection. 2. E24 rear seats and mismatched center console. Could use as is, I'd recommend getting them reupholstered. Not sure how I would ship these so if you have a suggestion, let me know! $600 shipped with PayPal protection. 3. Ireland Engineering Billet Aluminum Accelerator Pedal (missing hardware?) $90 shipped with PayPal protection. 4. Side view mirrors, came with the car in a box when I got them. Looks like one of the seals came off so the glass doesn't stay put, glass still intact. Little bit of overspray on one of them where it mounts, previous owner resprayed the car. $80 shipped with PayPal protection. ALL PRICES ARE OBO. Feel free to make me a reasonable offer and keep in mind that shipping is included. Not in desperate need to sell these but would like to clear some space and make some money back. PayPal only. Local pickup in SLC, UT.
  6. Do you know how bad the passenger floor is and do you know of any other critical rust spots? Mine was completely shot on the passenger floor as well and I didn’t find it til I pulled the carpet which was my fault going in blind when I bought the car.
  7. I just sold mine this morning, and now I kind of want yours haha.
  8. Here's mine if you're interested. There is rust and you will see them in the pictures. I have two price points of what the configuration could be but also accepting offers. 1976 BMW 2002 - BMW 2002 and Neue Klasse Cars for Sale/Wanted - BMW 2002 FAQ

  11. @MolyZokyhey have you started the swap? If so what trans are you going to use? I am looking into doing the same swap. Not sure what else I’ll need though
  12. I’m looking for an m42 and 5 speed trans. Also anything else I’ll need to swap into my 76’ 02. Send Pics and price plus shipping to West Valley City, UT 84118.
  13. Thanks for the advice everyone. Just to clarify if I did sell I would be posting nationwide. I was just stating that it’s not desirable in California due to its age. The original plan is to restore it slowly. I still love the car even though I have not driven it more than around my block. I think I’ll most likely keep it and keep working on it. My son is also waiting to ride in it but I won’t til I get the rust taken care of. Love the view when my garage opens up every time I get back from work so that’s worth noting ?
  14. @Squid's 02thank you! The car is basically stock besides dual Weber’s and still has the 4 speed. Not sure what the diff ratio but I imagine it is stock as well. I agree with you on the wheels, I kept them from my last car and just threw them on the 02 as the tires on the bottle caps were not driveable. Should’ve kept those wheels too but I don’t have them anymore. I wouldn’t be oppose to finding some bottle caps again to roll on. Thanks for the advice!
  15. Hello, I’m curious to know what a good starting price would be to sell my 1976 BMW 02. I know it’s not very desirable in California due to the year. Not sure if I want to sell it either but I have considered it. Rust is fairly contained except I found the front passenger floor needs to be replaced, a small patch underneath the rear right passenger, and also an area that’s need patching under the gas pedal. Shock towers are good. Car runs and drives, unknown mileage. I threw away the old raggedy carpet and was planning to get a new one. Previous owner had it resprayed but you can definitely see some flaws in it. It has H&R lowering springs and I just bought GECKO coilovers for it and only have the rears installed. It also has some 16” SevenK forged wheels that retail around $3-4K. Recaro seats. LED bulbs all around with electronic flasher. Early (flush) turn signals. New battery. Gas tank was refreshed by previous owner. Cant really think of anything else at the moment. But yeah, looking for a price point if I do decide to sell. I would also sell without coilovers, and wheels (buyer would need to bring wheels if so). I will upload all the pictures I have on me. Thanks!
  16. Interested in the floor pan. Can you send pics and price shipped to west valley city Utah 84118?
  17. Looking for a set to weld my coilovers to. Shipped to west valley Utah 84118.
  18. Thank you all for the advice, I’ll keep digging and seeing what I can do to fix the cluster! Turns out I am a complete idiot and had the wrong direction on my two front wheels. Swapped them and the knocking sound went away haha. I was to excited to put the wheels on apparently.
  19. Three things, and a lengthy post.. I finally got all my LEDS and signals working properly! I took my car for a spin around my neighborhood after doing the odometer repair from the FAQ. Also tried adding a ground to the brass nuts on the back in an attempt to fix the fuel guage. Before I removed the cluster the tachometer, temp guage, as well as the speedo was working. The fuel guage needle was not working to begin with. I also broke the speedo needle while working on the odometer (my fault). After the repair, only the temp guage is working and I can't tell if the speedo is. I didn't drive far enough to see if the odometer is working but the tripmeter seems to be working. The reason I didn't drive far enough to see if the odometer was working is because I kept hearing a rotating, knocking sound coming from the front right suspension area. It sounded like my wheel or something was going to fall off. I have wheel spacers with studs so my aftermarket wheels can clear the strut, checked those and it seems to be okay. I'm thinking a front suspension rebuild would fix this? It's probably due for a rebuild anyways.. I'm stuck at this point, are there any other grounds I can add or any other fixes for my cluster? Are there any companies that can rebuild it, or should I just buy one in working condition? Any suggestions for the knock sound in my suspension? I've looked at the bluntech kit with the control arms and I'm thinking of going that route unless there are any other kits readily available or if I should just piece it together. Thanks to all of you, it's been great learning and trying to work on some of these things by myself and I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever.
