Maybe someone can help me out as to where to get started.
So I ended up having someone check out my car just to get it a look over and at the time I thought it was having a little misfiring but not always. When I had my car looked at one vacuum line ripped and the car started running even worse and couldn’t even idle. So it was some how plugged and then the gentleman said he was going to adjust my carb a little. Since adjusting it and I ended up driving an hour home and the car appeared to run great.
However now the car has trouble starting. If the car hasn’t been started for a few days it takes a bunch of cranks and it requires the choke to be completely pulled out to start. But again once it does start, it runs great! But if I go somewhere and I turn the car off after driving it, good luck getting it started after 30 minutes. Today I stopped at a car meet for an hour and it took a ton of cranks, a couple times it started but then died until eventually it going to where it eventually started and I was able to get home. Also today I noticed more of a gas smell in the cabin than normal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I.e. Gentleman who saw my car said I even had the wrong distributor cap although it’s always ran great for the past two years. If someone can confirm and tell me which one I need, that would be great! Also posted the idle when my car is warmed up.
