  11. Right On! Will do when I get the chance to scope out the fuse box. I will probably take pictures. I figured it’s a good time. Brake booster is out the way. Appreciate the wisdom. Will an In line fuse adapter suffice?
  12. Great Diagram! Thank you for the input. Is it safe to also get a line going to the Weber from fuse #12?
  13. Hello All I have a 74BMW 2002 and Just finished up wiring and bench testing my EDIS 4/MEgajolt system. I had the +12V directly to the + side of the battery for the test got plenty of spark. i also have a Weber 38/38 electric choke on its way from Ireland Engineering. the original was a 32/36 water choke. so i also need to power the carb. I've looked underneath the dash but its a bit of a mess i will have to do some clean up. I've done some research and found other members tapping into the ignition switch right behind the key/ignition area. like in the pictures above. i cant find a solid wiring diagram for a 1974 manual transmission for that area. What wire am i looking for on the ignition switch and may i splice or tap into it to power the coil pack and carburetor? Thank you for your time. any info is appreciated.

Novice at this car stuff and im learning as i go. I also no MAP input from the manifold yet. Any info is appreciated. than you for your time EDGAR

  16. Nice! I’ve heard of a whistle tool also. Most likely attempt this on the weekend along with the trigger-wheel and sensor install. Thanks for the tips and tricks.
  17. right on! I'll try that method as well. is their a correlation between the stick in cylinder 1 rising method to the marking on the crankshaft/oil bar markings?ill probably have to feel for that ball bearing on the flywheel. thanks for the info, sorry back to topic. the previous owner has a weber 38/38 electric and cam 292 installed. any recommendations on for the software? been reading alot about the default Tii settings running just fine.
  18. Hello all I finally finished wiring up and bench testing my Edis-4 megajolt system and to my suprise it sparks, i am in no means an expert car guy and learning as i go. the car was purchased as unfinished project and the fellow has changed out the 32/36 to a weber 38/38 electric choke, and i believe an IE 292 cam as well. I'm attempting to get the car TDC on compression.just to get the car to start. i removed the starter so i can peek inside to see the markings on the flywheel (using haynes manual) i rotated it by hand cleaning it with a small wire brush and still cannot find the markings. Is their another way to determine timing or to set it TDC on compression? maybe open up the valve cover. Ive read here that cylinder 1 all valves must be closed? Ive also lined up the marking on the camshaft sprocket with the center of the oil rail as stated in the other threads. is their anything i am missing. As the Megajolt system requires the 36 tooth trigger wheel installed when engine is TDC. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. edgar
  19. Yes still available. Leaning towards local sales. But if willing I’m open for shipping out
