  1. I'm sorry I lost my brother Danny to covid in Nov of 2021. I sold all of his part to one guy in Parker Colorado. Regards, Ruth Quigley
  2. Can some of you help me. I'm not sure what type of fuel should go into a 2002. I've been using regular unleaded but only fueled it once before selling it. They were my brothers cars. It's something I've been thinking about and I sold one of the 2002's and the new owner is asking me. This is his first car. Thank you.
  3. not sure why you can't message. maybe a problem on my end. I'll check
  4. This 1967 BMW 1600 was purchased in San Diego, CA by my brother Danny Quigley on August 28, 1984 - nearly 38 years ago. From paperwork I am finding on the vehicle it appears and is possible Danny Quigley is possibly the 3rd owner and it has been recently transferred to Nevada. Unique only to the very early cars, this 1600 has the ultra-rare 10-spoke grill with the surround center kidney grill as well. In March 1966 the 1600 was introduced on BMW's 50th anniversary, and it begins production in April. VIN's begin at 1500001 runs through 1533857 at 1967 model years end. Approximately 2000 sold in the U.S., mostly '67's. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM BMW GROUP The BMW 1600-2 VIN 1529682 was manufactured on June 22nd, 1967 and delivered on July 4th, 1967 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Granada, paint code 023.We hope this information is helpful for you.Yours sincerely,BMW GroupAndreas HarzBMW Group ClassicHistorisches Dokumentationszentrum

  6. My brother left this 1967 1600 behind when passing away in November. Out of all his 2002's I think his 1600 was his baby. She is a beauty.

  8. Just saw your post. You beat me to it as I was going to post for everyone. This can't possibly sell for that price, but we still have 4 hours to go on bidding.
  9. We have contacted Alpina and the car was done in Buckloe. Its been confirmed by Alpina. When the car is eventually sold we just want to present it properly. Thanks for your input.
  10. I'm a planning to finish Danny Quigley's Alpina and he has left a lot of information behind for me. But I would love to see in writing a build list of Alpina A1thru A4s from the Alpina factory. Alpina does not have records that far back and the car verifiably was assembled at Alpina. I hope that reaching out here will shed some light. I've been told it's an A4 but do not have a list for selected Alpina parts for the car. This has been quite a task but I know someone out there has some answers. Thanks
  11. Since the owner has passed away of covid in November 2021 the family has decided to finish the Alpina. We will update photos as we move along on the restoration. Thank You, Danny Quigleys sister Ruth
