  1. I'm looking for a complete 1969 wiring harness. If anyone has one for sale, please message me.
  2. I have some intake parts from when I was attempting to adapt a 2000ti air cleaner to my Weber DCOEs. I was just able to make it work, but ended up going with the KW slanted intakes and air cleaner because the figment was better. I’m giving these parts away for free to anyone that’s interested. Lower 48 only - OEM intake boots - OEM clamps - Mann filters - air filter latches that have new yellow zinc coating - a custom fabricated bracket that holds the air filter to the strut mounting spot. Will need to be repainted. Modeled this after Alpina mounting bracket. Comes with mounting hardware and bushings.
  3. And here's set #2. These have been worked on and polished, and there are marks on the backside to reflect that. Asking $100 + shipping. I also have another set (x4) of the OEM hubcap BMW decals, which I can include with either set for + $20.
  4. Here's a nice original set of hub caps. Asking $150 + shipping.
  5. I'm trying to hunt down some of the parts that go behind the vent window knobs, interior door handles, and window cranks. This includes the springs, stop disks, and plastic cover pieces. Let me know if you have spares that you're willing to sell.
  6. I'm looking to get rid of some air cleaner pieces that I won't be using. SOLD - NOS air cleaner (13721257989) + intake tuber + cold air box : $200 + shipping weber carb adapter : free + shipping mahle filter (made in austria) : free + shipping I would also be open to trades. I need the springs and plastic washers that go behind window cranks, vent window knobs, and door handles. If you have all those in good condition, I would trade all these parts for them.
  7. I dont have one of these but I'm curious about your intended fuel pump setup
  8. Thank you! All very helpful. Do all the pumps flow the same amount or were there flow differences between the TI and base 2002s given the different carb setups? Here's the base of mine for future reference. Part 72087651
  9. Does anyone know what length pushrod is associated with this pump? I haven’t been able to find much information by searching the part number. It came with this rod, which I’m assuming is incorrect given the length.
  10. I'd be tempted to convert an 02 if it was easy as converting a VW beetle. Ideally it would be possible without permanently altering the car (e.g. drop in). The issue for me is price...even the VW kits are 2x the price of a nice car. 11. Hey! My 2002 is a 1969 year car. Are there any fitment issues with the newer style interior mirrors?

  15. I'm looking for an interior rear view mirror with nice glass and plastic. Let me know if you have one that you'd like to sell!
  16. It does feel really bad when its a freshly painted car! There was also a bunch of other issues that I didn't mention as well, such as putting a hole in a door panel (how??) etc etc. But you're right, its all fixable with time, money, and expertise
  17. Its Vintage Auto Service. He's based in San Diego. My understanding is that he was once good, but may have come into health or substance abuse issues.
  18. I recently had a kid and decided to outsource some final mechanical work on my 02 restoration. The mechanic came highly recommended and appeared competent, but ended up being a total nightmare. Long story short, life got crazy with a new baby and I didn't catch that the mechanic was doing some serious damage to my car. The mechanic took off my hood and was unable to reinstall it correctly. As a result, there are deep scratches in my fresh paint where the arms touched the cowl and where he messed with the latch mechanism. He also drilled three visible holes where he wanted to install a fuel pressure regulator. The hood edge is dented where it made contact with the door. Paint is scratched off around the engine bay where he was leaning in the car. I want to get this damage fixed but I'm not sure who to trust with my car. The painter that I originally used is now retired and not taking new work. I need a recommendation for someone who knows their way around these cars. I will also need a mechanic to double check the mechanical condition of the car once the bodywork is sorted out. Thanks!
  19. I seem to have lost the cap that goes on the heater box and covers the fan electronics. I'm looking to buy the heaterbox cap or a heaterbox that includes the cap. Here is the cap that I'm referring to:
  20. Does anyone have pictures or advice on how to install the factory interior pinch weld? Specifically, what’s the relief cut used for and how’s it oriented on the door frame?
  21. Even though I only interacted with him a few times, Paul seemed like a really great guy. He was quick to provide valuable advice ...and did some with a great attitude and sense of humor!
  22. I’ll take the glove box. I’ll send a PM
  23. I'm looking for a nice, mostly unused cigarette lighter for a '69 2002. PM me if you have one that you'd like to sell! Thanks
