  1. I found the part numbers on realoem. Took a while to located the diagram.
  2. Does anyone know if this is the correct spring?
  3. Hi Guys. Im looking for another part to complete my 1973Tii. I need the cone shaped spring and plastic washers that goon the regulator where it mounts to the glass. See pic below. Thanks Rene
  4. I placed a wtb add here a couple of days ago. I have received 2 suspicions offers from members referring me 2 outside people who supposedly have the part I need. Both members registered here the same day which is suspect. The person I was referred to was likely trying to scam me. He was very pushy but could not produce any pictures of the part. I just wanted to warn the community that I feel like our forum is being targeted. How do I contact an administrator?
  5. Looks like I found one from Scoyote. Thank you all for the help. Rene
  6. I am in south Florida. I would pay for shipping no problem. Rene
  7. Hi, Im looking for the headliner board for non sunroof cars so that I can start installing my new headliner. Does anyone have one for sale or a template that will help me reproduce this piece? Thankls Rene
  8. The original poster communicated that they were sold locally a while back.
  9. I bought a set of BBS RS001 from Frank Franker. They took longer than expected to arrive and at times I was seriously worried, but they did arrive and look awesome.
  10. Thanks for the suggestions, Ill probably just look for a rear seat use as its bigger and the material has been used less. I ordered samples of the world upholstery material and found them a bad match for my saddle. The color was more brown as opposed to caramel.
  11. Hell all. I am trying to make a nice set of original saddle seats for our 73. My passenger seat upholstery is nice but my drivers seat is has a rip on the embossed vinyl. I found another passenger seat thaf has decent upholstery. Can I transfer the passenger seat vinyl to the driver seat frame? Or should I have an upholstery shop dissect the embossed vinyl from the passenger seat and use that to fix my drivers seat?
  12. Super nice seats. These are more comfortable than Recaros. I borrowed a set for 3-400 miles and they were super nice. I wish I had found a set of these but I was not able too. I paid more for my recaros and I like them less.
  13. It is very easy to drop the glass doing this, have a helper. I know from experience
  14. I just acquired an S14 for our 73Tii. I was strongly considering adding Jenvey heritage ITBs to my M10 or building a big M10 and going with ITBs on that motor and storing my original motor. Truth be told I am concerned about hurting my cars value with the swap, No I am not one of those people that are OVERLY concerned with car values, but I don't like to be wasteful. Our Tii motor is running fine and will be stored along with the car, in other words this swap is not needed but it is wanted. If I had more space I would have just left the Tii original and bought a square tail chassis. Hmmm maybe one day I will have space for that square tail car and swap back.
  15. Well the car was at Le Trans from August until a few weeks ago. We drove from Miami to Le’s place. We did get to spend a few more days driving it around the area. Made more memories! Now it’s time for paint. The car has all new suspension, cooling, 123 ignition, rebuilt rear end, rebuilt 5speed etc. Basically the car looks prettier underneath than it does on top. I was happy to see how dry the car is after removing all the glass and interior. Unfortunately I dropped one of the rear side widows removing it. I haven’t decided wether to use single stage or 2 stage paint. Sometimes I see old cars with 2 stage paint and they don’t look right to me, too shiny, too deep. 2 stage is probably better longer lasting paint so I haven’t ruled it out. Our car had tons of small dents but luckily they where mostly all asccesable from behind. Some we welded small rods too and used a body puller to pull them out. I want to detail the trunk. I am considering stripping all the paint with either chemical stripper or wet blasting. Then treating the surface with ospho, then primer and then paint I would like too protect the area for years to come. I am not crazy about the bumpy protective finish usually applied to the shock towers and trunk sides. I think it can look dirty, then again I’ve never seen what it looks like fresh. The motor will be removed when I get back from the vintage. The plan is to detail and prime the engine compartment also. I hope to paint the engine compartment, trunk and engine compartment myself and leave the outside to the pros. Stay tuned for for a BIG update after the Vintage.
  16. I bought a Momo indi 35cm from JohnP_02. Very positive experience. Thanks

In retrospect I wish I would have started with the paint and done the mechanicals later.
  18. To confirm- if I tuck my bumpers with 72 or earlier brackets I will complete the conversion? My bumpers are slightly bent but I am confident they can be saved. Can I add the euro tag lights to my rear bumper and fill in the us ones?
  19. Very nice gman. Definately inspirational. I have wheels coming in the same size and et as yours.
  20. Only the top two have holes. . The bottom two only have blank pads. It is in very good shape. I am pulling my windshield so I should have plenty of access to do the job.
  21. Mine does not have any marks on the inside for the clock.
