  1. The water pump is not turning even by hand. I think Hal is right, I reused the screws that I took out, so I bet that is the problem. Thank you both for your help. I will find some shorter screws and put them in today or tomorrow and hopefully that fixes the problem.
  2. My radiator came loose and ripped up all the hoses and damaged the radiator. I bought an aftermarket one but the radiator fan wouldn't fit on so I put the screws back in without the fan and installed the radiator. After I put all the hoses back on, I started up the car and the radiator fan belt was spinning but the radiator fan(at least where it would have been) wasn't spinning even though the belt was. I was just curious if anyone knows what the problem could be. Any advice is appreciated.
  3. Pulled my 2002 and my brother's e30 into our backyard for some pictures
  4. Thank you guys for all of your help. I will check the exhaust for holes tomorrow
  5. For quite some time my 2002 has been making a weird sputtering noise, you can faintly here it when you are driving normal or idling, however you can clearly hear it when you go full throttle. The exhaust also shoots out black fluid when you start it up which has never concerned me, but it might have something to do with the problem, because the sound seems like it is coming from the exhaust. Anyways thank you if you took the time to read this and any advice would be appreciated.
  6. Thank you to everyone who replied. The Heat shield was loose. All we had to do was tighten a screw and it is back to normal.
  7. I am trying to find out what that grinding noise is, but I don't know much about cars. I looked under the hood and couldn't find anything that was shaking out of control or anything. It seems to get louder as you go into higher rpm's but you can faintly hear it when the car is idling. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. IMG_2217.MOV.mov
