  1. This has all the ingredients for a great build. I’ve followed your Alfa/Porsche builds for a long time so it’s fun to watch you build a 2002. Best of luck with your sale! Whoever buys it is going to get a great car! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dcoe 40s

Hey Rich, They will most likely need a rebuild just from sitting from an unknown amount of time. 92 dcoe40 150 I think 45s will be more ideal for my setup so I didn’t bother with rebuilding this set of 40s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Boxed control arms

Had a pretty good response from people seeing these so I thought I’d bring them over to the “for sale” section I work at a fabrication shop and I am lucky enough to make parts for my own car but I thought I’d share. I have boxed my own control arms, like i’ve seen in a few race cars of the period, for the added structural rigidity over the stock arms. They are cut to shape and dimpled for reduced weight and added strength. I am not provided you a “kit” I am providing you a service If you send me your control arms I will media blast them, stitch weld the seams, add the plates to “box” powder coat or plating upon request $100 per pair You pay shipping to me Powder coat or plating price will vary I will pay return shipping Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree with that Some type of threaded ends with nuts to dial in adjustment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Full on mod ? Nothing wrong with the IE kit You’re correct, I wanted to add them for extra rigidity and less unsprung weight. Dimpled plates reduces about 30-40 percent of the weight Plus, instead of selling as a DIY kit I would rather sell a service Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Making parts

Luckily I work at an off-road shop so I have the ability and tools to make a lot of parts myself I have a list of parts I would like to produce for my '02 and others if possible so I wanted to get started First I made myself some boxed control arms that I’ve seen on a few race cars and really appreciate the additional structural strength it brings from their stock form Secondly, I have a couple strut tower plates laser cut to make my own strut tower bars. Probably will just weld in a straight chromoly bar for carbureted cars. If anyone has any opinions on aesthetic or a better structural geometry please chime in May be able to make a couple of either of these for others who are interested Thoughts ? - Dennis Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
