  1. These cars are old now. Thanks to the internet the info is all saved on here somewhere. i’m not saying every topic or nuance has been discussed specifically here on the faq but if you know how to use a search bar you can almost find everything you need pretty darn easy without having to post about it.
  2. We have our last 3 getrag 245’s. Two 3 bolts and one 4 bolt. Professionally refreshed/resealed and ready to go (SK Performance Transmission). Pickup and cash preferred. $2500 each. I also have a bucket of 245 spares/boneyard if anyone is interested.
  3. Looking for a green or orange fog light switch in good working condition or NOS. The screw on type for E3/E9/2002, not the E21 push in switch. Of course the one I had worked perfectly fine until I installed the console, then it broke. Shipping to 91010.
  4. Reviving this. Anyone actually install this bearing into their Getrag 245? The one we bought from W&N is much taller than the one we pulled from the transmission... Also W&N only states that it fits 5er, while Latvian eBay guy states that it fits E21's
  5. Thanks but he already sold them ? It wont let me make an account to message the seller. As the site is for EU residents it makes you verify your account by phone number. Seeing as I don't have an EU phone number I'm out of luck I fear.
  6. Door cards are completely missing. 2002 front subframe already installed. not sure about the mount though, look just like 02 mounts.
  7. Bought this car a few weeks ago from a guy working at a Porche shop in HB California. He didn't seem to know much about the car and neither did I as I'm just getting my toes wet in NK ownership. I'd like to try and track down the owner before him if possible and try to locate some of the missing parts from the car. There is an invoice pictured in the BAT listing for a James Williams in 2000, maybe it was him? Car was sold on BAT in 2015. 1965 BMW 1800TI BRINGATRAILER.COM Bid for the chance to own a 1965 BMW 1800TI at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #658. Since the BAT sale the car has been stripped for restoration. The paint job was done with apparently zero rust repair so now the rust is coming through the paint on the bottom of all the doors and in the roof, floorboards, bottom of the nose panel, etc. The motor has been replaced by a 2.0L w/ Weber 45's mated to a getrag 245. Suspension is all redone and new with 2002 front subframe, E9 rear subframe with side-loader diff. Most notably I'm missing door cards, front and rear emblems, brake booster, wood on the dash, owners manual, and a few other things. If anybody has these parts or the ones listed above, I'm all ears. Also looking for a nicer set of turn signals and taillights, speedometer in MPH.
  8. I have a set $100 plus about $50 shipping
  9. Do you know the size difference or measurement? I think I may have a blue one.
  10. We have rebuilt units. $300 plus ship. No core needed.
  11. It probably would be for that. Maybe you have a 2.5L motor though.
  12. @MOESPEED2002Headers would be stainless like the above picture I posted.
  13. If we ended up making one with a 2.5" collector one could possibly use our header adapter to stock exhaust. https://www.iemotorsport.com/product/adapter-ie-step-header-to-oe-resonator-flanging/
  14. Not sure on what the consensus is but we thought people wouldn't really use a stock 2" exhaust system with this motor. Maybe not?
  15. @jimk Thank you for those pictures. Correct me if I'm wrong, but looks like someone modified the downpipes to clear the steering and obviously used v-band instead of the stock 2 port flange. A minor inconvenience but we were thinking to make something that's drop in and clear the linkage w/o modifications. And make it look really nice too (not saying yours is ugly). @irdave@Ian@Mmathew Yes, they would be performance headers. I don't think it would make much sense to spend the kind of money to only make a replication of the stock headers. We think the 4 into 1 design would keep the cost down as there aren't as many collectors. But we are open to ideas at this point. The one the fabricator is making now is a 4 into 2 or we could do a 4-2-1. Obviously the more complex the header gets the more welding and cost is involved in making it. This is what he is making now for a customer. He said the 4 into 2 was kind of a pain in the arse because you have to put in a cross-over for the 02 sensor.
  16. Would there be any interest in a 2002 specific S14 header? We know the original one fits "OK". from what we saw it had to be hammered quite a bit to clear steering. Anyways, we were thinking maybe a 4 into 1 w/ a 2.5" outlet and a v-band on the end. Made from nice stainless like our M20 swap headers. Let us know if this would be something useful or needed and we can start doing some small batches of them. Price TBD once we get the general idea of the design nailed down. For now thinking somewhere in the $1500 general area.
