  1. Car was sold yesterday. Buyer was pleased with the purchase.
  2. Looking for just one, an Italian clear & amber lense for the drivers side. Prefer no cracking or chipping of the lense, minimal inner corrosion, minimum pitting of the chrome body and reusable foam gasket.
  3. I reluctantly am encouraged to sell my 1973 BMW 2002 Roundie with manual & sunroof. I have purchased another classic and The Boss has concern with having an additional car occupying our two car garage while her car sits outside in the weather! I am posting notice here to determine if any of the Forum members have an interest before I list it on BAT, which will charge a buyer 5% of the sold price. It had undergone a complete bare metal paint, mechanical & weather strip restoration a few years back. I have since continued to refine it with personal improvements (A/C, right mirror, electric trunk lock, F&R stabilizers, engine bay strut bar, headlight relays, electric rad fan, Pertronic ignition, center armrest, 3rd brake light, complete rug replacement with underlay Boommat, fuel tank sensor, 3 gage panel, etc & etc). A detailed list of improvements and pictures will be provided once I figure how not to exceed the submitted megabite limit and find them on my computer.
  4. In order to finish my upgrade I need a left front fender Italian European (half ember & half clear) parking light. Prefer no rust interior & exterior with unblemished lense. I only need one because I already have the right passenger side unit.
  5. interested in a couple of your under dash panels. Do they have any scratches and what is the per piece pricing?
  6. I purchased and installed one with a light. It works like a charm and you never have to use a trunk key again. Just run a wire from the unit to a spot under the dash for the switch, wire the switch to a fused always hot lead and you are in business. You can still leave the trunk closed and unlocked for repeated access or just electrically lock it with the switch. If you have a dead battery, you can still use the key to open. A novice can install it.
  7. Decon works well but the rodents eat it and retire to their secluded wall space and die, leaving a inaccessible stench. With my previous collectible I had a blowup transparent enclosure that not only kept rodents out but kept it dust free. One for an average size car is around $400.
  8. I am not interested in a square light with protruding bumpers but for someone that isn't picky, a range between $19-22K seems reasonable. A "quality" bare metal re-paint job these days will run between $5-8K.
  9. Let me know your preferred payment address and I'll submit payment. Mine is: MBambo at comcast.net
  10. I only need one connector to replace my broken one but would you be willing to accept $20 for the three that you have on hand?
  11. I can't tell from the bagged photo if the section of the spark plug wires that connect to the spark plug are the hard composite style? I need the extended composite.
  12. If you had chosen a "roundie" with sunroof for all of your upgrades it would be an easy sale at the asking price.
  13. I have a heated garage but I keep a car cover on when I am not working on it to keep the dust off. Any pros or cons about raising the car with the suspension extended during extended storage?
  14. I had a 544 just prior to my purchase of my 2002 BMW. They are built like a tank with thick Swedish steel (you can sit on the hood or roof). The only negatives I can recall are that the carbs sit just above the exhaust manifold and next to the oil pressure sensor (fire hazard). Your car also shows a typical sprung left rear hatch. Is that the original paint? 544 pics.zip
  15. The previous submission was a computer glitch that I couldn't fined a way to edit or eliminate. Sorry.
  16. Anyone possessing a one driver's side Italian side lense, for a reasonable price, I would be in the market as I already have the passenger unit.
  17. Thanks, my mind is at ease as I wasn't sure how this resistor functioned.
  18. Installed new custom pedals. Took 2 hours because the clutch and brake pedal metal was extremely hard to drill through. Came without instructions but the manufacturer's website had an excellent installation video to refer to .
  19. I was tracing my wiring and discovered that my present wiring hook up to the coil primary resistor doesn't reflect what the manual depicts. My car runs fine but my wiring position #1 is green & red and position #2 is just green. .This is opposed to the attached manual description which is just the opposite? Does it make any difference which way the wiring is attached to the resistor? My green & red goes from the resistor #1 position to the coil terminal #15.
  20. I am going to Oakland in October. What specific area of North
  21. I want to order one of your adjustable alternator brackets. I have a 1973 basic 2002. Advise me on the ordering process.  Thanks,  Gregg
