  1. I love Arktisblau and the fact that I very rarely ever see it.
  2. Also look up member David Layton. He is currently having his tii restored in StL and will be able to help.
  3. You can start the conversation with Greg at Bimmers R Us in StL. He will be able to help and steer you in the right direction. Their number is 314-752-3800. We have an 11 car group here in St. Louis so send me your email and I will add you to our group email.
  4. Sister is still in her cave hibernating, but we received our our third heavy rain so we will be back out for the 2021 season starting next week. Here is the carpet after 66,014 documented miles.
  5. Carpet doesn't look like 32k miles, but she is beautiful regardless. Great looking Verona 2002. Welcome to the group. -Original Mileage Gatekeeper
  6. I have found every 2002 owner to be approachable and willing to spend time chatting and offering help/parts if needed. It was last year when I was dropping my kids off at school in my 6spd custom chassis e60 when my wife called and said she passed a silver, I corrected her mispronunciation of Polaris, 2002 driving into our neighborhood. It was a quick drop off as I raced home to get Sister Mary Matthew to go 2002 hunting. We cruised up the main drag and found it about 25 minutes later. I walked into the office building where the car was parked and began to ask anyone and everyone if they knew who owned the cool BMW outside. After a bit of side eye, I was told to hang tight and the front desk worker walked upstairs to grab Charlie. I told him the story about the last 30 minutes and we went out to the parking lot to talk. We went through each others cars and he gifted me the tumble weed fire starters and charcoal that he had in his truck as he was showing me his shock towers. Charlie is now the 9th member of our St. Louis chapter and someone I consider a friend. Needless to say, I always keep me eyes peeled for 2002s. Photo of that run in is below.
  7. BMW Count.pdf I just received the report after 37 days of working on my patience. Missouri does not track by specific model so the preliminary report the DOR provided was by model year only from 1968-1976. I am following up with them and will see if I can get some additional clarity i.e. VIN, body style, etc. Here is the breakdown ( .pdf attached for those retaining files ) 1968 - 2 1969 - 2 1970 - 5 1971 - 9 1972 - 9 1973 - 11 1974 - 26 1975 - 5 1976 - 15
  8. Good afternoon. What a great initiative! I have requested for the State of Missouri.
  9. As the title reads, I am looking for any 10/75 dated parts, but am especially looking for 10/75 KPZ 13" steelies. Thank you for your help and to John P for already helping ( I am still looking for both of us! ). Sister Mary Matthew

@Conserv Thank you for being on top of this, Steve. Slight typo several year ago - my apology - and did not know how to correct.
  11. Here are the photos I took of Sister Mary Matthew's stickers last night. All original stickers. '76 10.24.75 Production 2374765 3.19.76 Last Purchase Date
  12. Good afternoon and I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Has anyone used their Lifetime Warranty from Meineke? I know, right? I should have probably asked if anyone else has one. Sister was cruising at 45 this afternoon when it sounded like she doubled her speed and tripled her power. My receipt is from 1996 and has a lifetime warranty on the front and rear muffler assemblies. Thank you. John
  13. Please add me to the list. Thank you. Sister Mary Matthew
  14. I agree with Chris at Stone Racing. He most likely will not be around the garage with his other jobs / responsibilities, but I will text him and let him know someone in the area needs help if you do not have other options. Shoot me a DM to share contact info. John
  15. Sent you a message. Thank you. John
  16. Ask the contractor for their "completed operations" coverage under their CGL package. Road and Bridge contractors carry this and it covers property damage as well as bodily injury. A claim on their professional liability ( E&O ) wouldn't hurt either. I am in the industry so PM me if you need help. Great job keeping her under control and saving yourself. Sorry about your 2002. John

  18. I recall reading a previous post about the breakdown being in Mike Macartney's '02 Restoration guide. Good luck.
  19. Hey John! Any luck tracking down the 10/75s? Have you moved in a different direction?
  20. @turbophil - anyway to send some Steam Whistle down to the states for Canadian Thanksgiving?
