  4. pretty common part for many applications ...
  5. i got two '02s and both have different boosters and none as any of those two ... ?
  6. This thing flies when you floor it and with the 4.11 diff. it leaves new cars way behind but ... i think i do 4mpg ... lol I replaced the one barel pdsi solex that i had from a 2002 engine cause the jets were not matching and made a mess somehow ... The engine is smooth, idle is perfect , it only drinks too much ... , maybe the electric fuel pump has anything to do with it or it's just the wrong jets ? 32 liters - 117 km ...
  7. Bolt heads were touching the clutch plate and i had no clue why ... Looks like the flywheel was way too thin so i had to postpone the dream of installing the engine back in the car ... The best choice i found was IE lightened flywheel + ARP bolts and shipping was $376 Can't wait to hear this engine
  8. Interested in the steering wheel lower cover , please pm price + shipping to 07205 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Thanks guys (anywhere in time), now it makes perfect sense. I drove the car briefly before i restored it so i blamed the noise at 60mph on the condition... 9 months later car restored, engine rebuilt and i was like ... what the hell is this 60mph drama about ? maybe third gear is not kicking in ??? maybe my automatic gear slips ?? maybe i forgot something loose in the engine ? ... no, no and no After installing an external tachometer (mine has a watch instead) i found out that i drive 60mph at 3500rpm , like (almost) all '02s even when i have a 4.11 diff. Spinning the wheels at start and 2nd gear very common and the car is very agile. i found a 3.64 diff on ebay and by the simple math it should do 60mph at 3045rpm, great cause that's where it's still relatively relaxed. Yet, keeping up with traffic is no less than 75mph and that should be around 3800rpm which starts to sound like a very normal engine speed. If i could only change my disbelief that those engines are "happy" with it ...
  11. Very useful !!! Thanks so much
  12. Me too !!! because this head (bough a NOS 11-12-1-268-720 ) came for K-Jetronics mechanical injection system which runs fuel lines to "injector valves" rather than electronically controlled injectors... This post is old but for me is an actual challenge:)
