Wanted to share this local find with the FAQ community. Car is being offered by Glen Shelly and is a time capsule (other than the early bumpers and steering wheel). I saw this car in person and it is as clean as advertised AND though not desirable for all of us, it has all the stock California emissions controls intact AND functional meaning it is smog and CARB compliant for you CA folk out there! Here is the summary from GS, definitely worth checking out for those interested in originality: This 1975 Mint Yellow 2002 came to us as part of a bundle of 2002s from a collector who favors unique colors of the 2002 palette. Shod in Mint Green over a Beige Leather interior with matching green Coco floor mats it makes a statement, always drawing thumbs up from enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. Other than a 3-Spoke steering wheel, Alpine stereo, Silverline exhaust, and Euro-style chrome bumpers it completely original. The OEM U.S. market impact bumpers are included in the sale. Importantly, all of the stock California emissions controls are intact, and functional meaning it is smog and CARB compliant. There is a thorough binder of records showing extensive documentation from the original purchase invoice in 1975 to the early 2000s. It was originally purchased from H&E German Car Sales in Palo Alto, California on September 2, 1975 for a total purchase price of $7143.76—that’s $34,011.60 in today’s money! The documentation from that point on is extensive showing California registrations and frequent regular services for the next thirty years. The trail picks up again a few years ago when it landed with the collector that I purchased it from in Texas. He first sold it to an owner in Europe, then bought it back before selling it to me. The exterior was refinished at some point, as well as having European style bumpers installed. The original impact bumper holes are present (which we plugged with rubber grommets), in case someone wants to revert it back to the original impact bumpers. In preparation for sale we had 2002 specialist Mark Hutto give it thorough service. This included re-routing and cleaning up the engine bay wiring, vacuum lines, fuel lines, and emission control equipment, battery, battery cables and hold down, valve cover, valve cover gasket, coolant flush, and replacing the reverse light switch. He then replaced the dashboard and rebuilt the heater box including the blower motor and heater valve, replaced the windshield, front and rear window trim, and removing the beginning of surface corrosion in the windshield channel. He also performed a tune-up including tuning the carburetor for Colorado altitude, replacing the drive belt, points, and condensor, and a fresh oil change. We had our fabricator repair a shoddy fix to the driver’s door hinge mount, ensuring it will last for long run and repaired the beginnings of surface corrosion in the spare tire well. As a result, there is no rust and it runs fantastic. The end result is a well-sorted 2002 in a rare color combo that would be equally at home as a useable collector. It receives compliments and attention on every drive and is equally at home on display at the local Cars and Coffee as it is ripping up some of Colorado’s finest canyon roads. We would like to find a new owner, who will continue this car’s unique legacy for the next chapter of its story, and enjoy it for years to come. Selling a set (driver and passenger side) of AUTOFLUG front seat belts and receivers out of my ‘74. Belts are in decent condition though they are stiff. Receivers are in good condition. The posts/rubbers are only 2.5" high so looks like old school "straight" sticks only. You could probably retro-fit with new posts to accommodate newer ski's. Regarding noise, the ski racks were definitely quieter than my full roof rack I am running.

Hello fellow FAQ'ers, I am clearing out my garage and seeing if there is any interest in my spare stock seats and/or seat parts. I have the following for sale: - Stock black seat with original horse hair padding. Padding is shot but black vinyl is in good condition with no rips/tears. Tilt mechanism in good condition and still has dust covers. Asking $50 OBO - Re-covered seats in blue vinyl (not done very well). Three of the four chrome seat arms are in great shape - one needs to be re-done. Could be used as is OR bought for chrome seat parts alone. Asking $150 OBO - Two stock seat rails in ok condition. These were drilled to adapt a set of crappy track seats. Rails move forward and aft but one roller/bearing does fall out. Asking $10 OBO OR will include for free if any of the above purchased. Highly prefer local sale (Broomfield/Denver Colorado area) but would be willing to part out seats if specific parts wanted. Feel free to PM me here with any questions, etc. Thanks for looking!

Hello FAQ'ers. I am offering my vintage A&T Ski Company rack for sale. Can come with the attached toboggan if local sale OR without the attached toboggan. I had some fun with this set up before I purchased my vintage retro rack from Reese M here on the forum. I used the toboggan purly for looks and fun though I guess you could use it as a functional "rack"... The A&T ski rack is in good shape with a little bit of cracking in the rubbers but still very presentable - has some oxidation on the aluminum components. I would like to sell it locally as it is the perfect addition to any Colorado 2002! I'm asking $200 OBO for the rack w/ toboggan or $175 OBO w/o toboggan + shipping. I need to replace my drivers side outer rocker - is this something you can source/provide? Would also like to get a tii alternator bracket for my '74 (to drop the alternator down low) - price? Thanks!
