  1. Fuel hose over plastic pipe, 2x ABA gas hose clamps. No failures.
  2. Parts cataloque says 7.0 (mm).
  3. Support the engine so that it don’t kiss radiator etc.
  4. Brakes, you need good brakes.
  5. At Kymiring long straight braking zone I’ve hit 150 mph. No fuss. Front a/dam, rear wing + some minor aero bits. Suspension needs to be in order (and brakes).
  6. Feds will be smirking on this one. get better block drucks are bad mkay
  7. No. Just annual oil change. Takes 1.5 L Oh and then there is noise of straight cut gears...
  8. New key might help if worn. Key grinders can make copy key a bit ”bigger” if you’ll say it’s for old & worn lock. New lock or internals is way to go in long run.
  9. Pistons or block are both good ways to go about. With new block you’ll need pistons thou. If it’s old cast you should have meet to go over size than that.
  10. As per title here’s some pics of mine. Bought it few years back with shifter. Had to modify shifter base to accomodate height to engage all gears. Connection rod needs to be parraller to gearbox in order to function properly. Also due space available i had to mount it backwards. Does not change function thou. Reverse gear lever needs to be pushed by palm but it’s not hard to get used to. Asked what oil i need to use. Answer was ”oil”. ”But don’t use red line”. I quess it leaves internals b&€*s to clean up when it’s time for overhaul? So i went with Comma 85W-140. Have worked well with it. I had to fab up guide tube for throw out bearing - some lathe time sortetd that out and i needed to grind some room for Getrag clutch slave cylinder - no biggie. Can be flat shifted w/out clutch although i tend use clutch and be gentle with it. Gear change? Eats from the hand. Very nice box. Heavy yes but should be strong.
  11. Why not just 1K wash primer to metal and then onwards as normally?
  12. Pads don't bind, caliber does not grind = rotor turns easily -> good to go. Check after some miles. Things do flex. If no marks on calibers then leave as is. If marks then play with shims.
  13. Sure, i'd start with 240 grit and see how it goes. Take your time. You'll want cracks solved without digging into FC.
  14. Gelcoat pretty cracked - lots of work to get nice paint on it. Sand carefully, light pressure & change sanding pads sooner than later. No need to use those exact pin locations. Patch them up and choose others if you want.
  15. You could easily fab something like this: Champ Tram Gauge (non-calibrated) - 6000 WWW.AUTOBODYTOOLMART.COM The Champ Tram Gauge is used to make point to point measurements. A point to point measurement is the shortest distance between any two reference points. In most cases, this is accomplished by setting a dimension on the Tram Gauge and comparing it to two... So no bending of measuring tape. Add bubble level (digital if you wish)... well you'll get the idea. is what i did anyways
  16. BMW M12 Cylinder Head, With Seats & Guides WWW.RIDGEWAYRACEENGINES.CO.UK and then there is this road...
  17. I ground top mount fender holes and tilted top mounts inwards as far they went without modifications to top mount itself. Got me about -1 deg. camber.
  18. Some engine familys have, some do not.
