  1. Wallosch und Nesch seems to have all 4 of them, and the short rear ones.
  2. That would have to do with the vertical taillights vs. the horizontal, more "upscale" look of the 2000s, the filler piece on the trunk lid, and the chrome trim between the taillights. Only Giovanni would know for sure, if he did the re-design. (and was still alive) Alex
  3. I am wondering if there are any 2000 tiluxes out there with original panels to do a small survey. 02tom and I have been having a discussion about whether all tiluxes have no air intake snorkel in the nose panel, similar to the 2002 ti and tii, or whether variation occurred. I maintain that my engine bay was original enough when I bought my car, based on scruffy original paint, the presence of the "roofing material" sound deadening on the inner fenders, and no overspray or masking lines, and it does have the air intake and is a genuine tilux. Comments appreciated.... Alex
  4. Hi KB, Is this what you are referring to? Art.-No. A33329058822 from W&N rear axle section. There is also a section in the repair manual showing the factory alignment jig in use. Hope this helps. -Alex
  5. Does anyone have a spare series 2 right side engine mount bracket? I am converting my 1967 to a 2002 K-frame and have posted in Parts Wanted. Since that post may get lost in the 2002 weeds, I am posting here as well. Thanks. Alex
  6. WTB- Right side engine mount bracket for series 2 NK which uses the 2002 K-frame. Found!
  7. That looks amazing! Reassembly is always the most satisfying part of restoration. Out of curiosity, could those possibly be the original floors?
  8. https://www.wallothnesch.com/motorteile-kuehlung/bmw-1500-2000-tii-4-tueren/katalogbild-11-32.html Here it is....and cheap at only 92.39 Euros (ex V.A.T.) Alex
  9. Steve, I can help you with a pair of freshly plated hood opener stops. Alex
  10. This fault, along with the improved Pitman arm design, gives me justification in upgrading to the re-designed K-frame in my Series 1 tilux. That, and the 150hp, reportedly Carl Nelson built engine, which would probably shred these on a regular basis!
  11. I would first check the condition of the rubber mount at the rear of the transmission, then the driveshaft bearing. -Alex
  12. Does anyone know if floor pans are being reproduced anywhere for NKs? I have checked the usual suspects (W&N, BTS, Rogerstii) with no luck. The closest that I have found are for E9s. Thanks, Alex
  13. I prefer the flat dash, steering wheel and wood dash and door trim of my series 1, but am upgrading to the series 2 subframes and drivetrain which the PO thoughtfully installed in my parts car. Truly the best of both worlds, IMO. And what's not to like about the old style 10 slat kidney grille?
  14. I found one! PM me if you are interested. I have tried to show the areas that wear.
  15. Hi Ed, I should have one or two of these in my stash. Alex
  16. It is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I would think that the shipping would be prohibitively expensive unless a way could be found to combine it with another car or container going to Europe. Alex
  17. It was part of 1460089, may she rest in peace.
  18. I just checked. BTS Autoteile still lists a kit consisting of the gasket, seals and large "O" rings for the long necked diff.
  19. Very nice NK, you have a real find there. I have had excellent success with BTS Autoteile in Germany for parts, and also Walloth and Nesch, although their supplies are getting fewer and fewer. Enjoy your car! Alex
  20. Kiva, I will definitely take you up on your offer. At least one of my clips is badly bent. PM me when you return. Thanks. Alex
  21. Hello Everyone, Does anyone know of a source for windshield glass or the old style rubber seals for windshield and rear glass for NKs? (The old style has the metal retaining strips, for those not in the know.)
