  1. I have see a corroded wires at the terminal in the battery ground cable cause this problem.
  2. Depends on the level of engine modifications. No, if you have a stock engine.
  3. Early USA models did not have headlight relays. If your car does not as well, all the current for your headlights is going thru the switch in your dash. The higher the wattage lamp, the more the current, potentially overheating the switch. LEDs draw a lot less power, but I added a headlight relays. https://www.amazon.com/2-Headlight-Headlamp-Ceramic-Socket-Harness/dp/B06XHSFLTZ/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Halogen+headlight+relay&qid=1604178883&sr=8-2
  4. There is a tv show, Vintage Voltage season 1 episode 9, where they show Electric Classic Cars doing the conversion of a 1602.
  5. Electric Classic Cars in the UK https://www.electricclassiccars.co.uk/ has done one. They sell a bell housing adapter for a motor, but it is not a Tesla
  6. “BMW” should be on the other side. Here is a picture of an original key from a 1969 car.
  7. I think a new factory non-folding blank key is $19.
  8. If that is the case, that should be clearly stated. It is unlikely that there any 2002’s with that low of mileage, but it is possible. A ‘73 tii with that actual mileage would be very valuable.
  9. I had a similar problem. In my case the problem was the ignition key cylinder tumblers were worn.
  10. I have seen humidity mentioned in at least one post. The humidity of the air will have a negligible effect on the cooling of the radiator (convection cooling), unlike for us humans (evaporation cooling).
  11. From what you have described, I would consider this normal for a 2002.
