  4. Make:: BMW Model:: 2002 Price:: 6000 Location: : Dallas Here's a 1968 '02 in the heart of North Texas. Creamy Manila on saddle brown interior. Body: 3/5. Minimal surface rust or dents, it does not have original paint. Have front and rear bumpers, they could use a re-chroming/straightening. Engine (M10 4 cylinder): 3/5. Starts every time, runs a little rich. Transmission/Driveline: 4/5. 4 speed manual shifts well. Interior: 3/5. It's mostly all there, though there is aging in the seats and dashboard. Electronics: 3/5. All the gauges work except for fuel level. Turn signals and lights function correctly. No AC or heat. With a little care, this car can continue on being a fun daily driver. With some extra care, this car has the potential to be an extremely nice original example. NEW PRICE: $6k!!!!!!!!!
  5. Cruised through Deep Ellum today, fun area! This car needs a lot of work but it puts a big smile on my face! Cheers, Matt

  8. So it is the wheel bearing. The bad news is that it damaged the hub so bad that I need a whole new hub. Does anyone know a good place to source one?
  9. It was after about 1 hour of driving. There is a lot of play in the steering as it is, so I am not sure what to expect when driving these old E10's. Additionally, the car pulls hard to the left (the side the wheel is bowed)
  10. Wow thank you for the help. I will get into it tonight and provide updates.
  11. Hey everyone! First post here on my new purchase. 1968 2002. Coming from the E30 world with a whole lotta love. I have my first issue with the car. I was driving it home from the seller's house and started feeling a wobble in the steering wheel and a loud squeaking. I pulled over and found the front left wheel was "bowed-in" and the lug nuts were very hot. I'm assuming if I drove further something very bad would have happened. Do you all think this is a tie rod issue?
