    I got 90% of my radiator support modification done for the m20 swap. It's got enough room for the hood to close without contact and enough room for the engine as well. Lots of grinding and prep work to do now to make it look nice. Now I need to go about making, or sourcing, a transmission mount bracket. I've elected to go with the g240. Any tips welcomed for that!

    I've used the SEM 39357 on the trunk supports already as laid out in the "Restoration one panel at a time" thread. Worked out great. I'll be sure to only use that SEM product then! I'd hate for the paint to have defects later on down the road from the use of the wrong stuff. Thanks again for the advice!

    After doing some reading from a combo of a bunch of different threads I just need clarification on a few things regarding the hood support. For this par that runs across should I be using the panel bond from 3M (08115) or the expanding flexible urethane foam from SEM? For this section same question, expanding foam or the panel bonding? Final question about the main supports down the center, should they be flush against the sheet metal or have a gap between for the foam to go into? The hood was dipped so there isn't any of the original stuff left for reference. Thanks in advance

    I think the hardest thing to overcome is that it is really hard to get people to pay for something when they already had or have access to it for free. (i.e. YouTube). That said, I am all for paying for additional ads as you need them, or even all of them. Look at eBays egregious 12% cut. I also think organizing into sub sections would be a great help, so you don't have to sift through things unrelated to what you are looking for.

    This was a month or more ago but got mine off the rotisserie and onto at least the back wheels for now. The front subframe needed to get recoated. Lots of work ahead to get it into a paint booth. The underside was sprayed with Lizardskin Sound Control and Heat Shield as well as a final layer of Wurth Stone Guard to tie it all together.

    Well, to be clear, Ethanol used in fuel is created from corn that was never meant to be on the table for us to eat, it's a bi-product from cattle feed. Not saying its not great for older vehicles that don't have the fuel systems to handle it. At the engine machine shop I work at we sell our customers Driven Carb Defender to combat ethanol fuels sitting in their carb cars too long. https://www.drivenracingoil.com/carb-defender-ethanol-fuel-additive.html

    I can tell you first hand that the quality of the restoration design fenders is not there.. I gave up on them and went OEM and the fenders went on with minimal fuss VS not ever getting RD to fit... To say I'm salty about it is an understatement... But that being said, you get what you pay for. Ted
