  1. To be fair, secondary idle jet is only missing because I robbed it for the 38/38 that came on the car at sale. 32/36 was rebuilt when I got it so other than re-jetting, should be in fine shape as you saw. Also, if you want to pass emissions with ease, drop the 32/36 on and take it to Pacific Motorsports and get James to take care of it. It'll cost a bit extra (around 300 if I recall), but it's guaranteed no matter how many trips he has to take. you're going to have a hell of a time on your own unless you swap the cam, especially considering those pistons. Good luck!

  3. Have one person who PM'ed me before you. If that falls through I will let you know.
  4. Price:: 600 Location: : Portland, OR I have a few parts I'm needing to clear out and the nicer things I'd like to sell. Among them is a pair of sidedraft 40's in great shape that I picked up from Dar_on a while back. seem to be in great working order and I haven't touched them since I received them from him other than to put on the shelf. Asking $500 for the pair. The other item is a 284 regrind I pulled out of my spare engine when I stripped it down. I don't know much more about it and I only know it's a 284 as I sent it to Ireland and they measured it for me. Asking $100.
  5. These were sold locally, per the post before yours. Best of luck!
  6. These were sold locally, sorry to keep you and anyone else waiting.
  7. Weekend price drop. Want these out of my garage!
  8. Okay, so several people have indicated they're interested, but no one is responding to PM's, so these are back on the market. Packed up and ready to ship; via Greyhound freight it's $76 anywhere in the US that has a major Greyhound hub (though some places closer to Portland are cheaper). PM me if interested. Thanks,
  9. I've had a couple local people fall through and I'm working on figuring out packaging/pricing to ship across the country for another gentleman currently. If that doesn't work out, you would be next in line.
  10. I have a matching pair of fenders for sale. These are in great shape with surface rust only, although there is one small bend in the lower front of the passenger side. This looks like it will be an easy fix. On the up side, there are no holes for the US side reflectors! Price does not include shipping, but I would highly prefer a local sale. PM me and let's talk. $200 + Shipping.
  11. Pickolly has me taken care of. Seems like lots of folks have options here, which is rad.
  12. Sent a PM to pickolly, if that falls through I'll hit you upoh2fly. Thanks friends!
  13. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. This is what I'm working with currently.
  14. Just need the cylinder for drivers side as mine is missing the front chrome piece - and maybe some other piece that sits just behind that. Long story short, it takes a lot of shimmying and strain on the key to get the door to open. Everything else works great so I'd love to replace this one piece!
  15. You guys are great, so pleased to know the solution! However, since it's driveable as it is if I'm careful, I need to focus on getting past Oregon DEQ - which I tested on Friday just to see where I was. Not pretty. Makes sense why my mpg sucks, I'm at 2.5x the hydrocarbon limit! So, give me a bit and eventually I'll post up new photos when I manage to spend some time under the car. Thanks again all! Leit
  16. That looks like it happened on Bainbridge somewhere. First guess was Fay Bainbridge but it's not looking the right way. Nice spot for a meeting anyway.
  17. Oh man, I swear I'd read somewhere that there was some advantage to having them push through instead of sit on top, but hell if I can remember now. And ain't that a bitch, the process to change that around is going to suck. It does make sense though, it always seemed odd to me that once I had the car up on jacks, I couldn't turn the wheels because it would get caught in between the flanges of the control arms. Which also makes sense why I would hear bad sounds over bumps or into dips (especially the latter). So yeah, that sounds like a solution in the works. And yes, all bushings were changed - I'd be a fool not to with the entire front end all apart!
  18. Okay, took some photos and the swaybars are definitely NOT straight as you describe. Here's a handful showing what I'm working with. Umm...I might have forgotten due to all the engine distractions. Just checked and the fronts are a little loose so I'm tightening them up now. Hopefully no damage done. On the up side, the rear bearings I did earlier this week are nice and quiet now. Of course, that just means I can hear the groans and whines from the trans and diff even more now. Guess those are next. I'll tighten the fronts and see if that changes anything. I also rebuilt the steering box but I've had a constant leak out of the back. I refilled it recently and it was maybe half full still, hopefully that wasn't one of the contributing things here.
  19. This is probably all obvious for most here, but I have a few steering/suspension woes I could use some help with (and search didn't give me any usable data). First the easy one. How does one tell if their swaybar is past it's prime? When I rebuilt the front subframe, I repainted everything including the strut towers. What I've noticed is there are horizontal marks on the towers right around where I imagine the swaybars would hit if they flexed that far. Does that just mean they're tired? It's probably the original so I guess I wouldn't be surprised. And I've been doing some pretty spirited driving in the hills around Portland to break the engine in so I'm definitely pushing the suspension hard. Now the harder question. On a couple of occasions I've been in a slow, hard turn (usually in parking lots at 5-10mph) to either left or right, and I drive over a speed bump or something of the like and I hear and feel a noise from the suspension. And immediately afterwards the steering will pull to that direction for a short time. Not sure what makes it go away, it just does and usually within 1/4 mile. Weird? Should I take a photo of how everything is put together and post it to make sure I didn't put something in upside down??
  20. Interested as well, let me know if this is available. Would need to ship to Portland.
  21. Damn, just got my hopes up too.
  22. I hear popcorn is the new homeopathic treatment for broken bones.
  23. Man, that's some awful news right there. Speedy recovery!
  24. A Tii as clean as yours for under 5k?? I bought the wrong car! [emoji13] It can't be that hard to prove the value is far more-- or can it?
