  1. Brand new casting. Carl Nelson was rumored to be working with a company to reproduce what BMW wouldn’t. This is the result. All I can say is it’s a solid piece of work. The casting mix as I’m told is 40 years of progress in metallurgy applied to solve the problems associated with cracking. The casting and machine work is apparent in the pictures and you can definitely feel it in the weight. Personally I’m impressed.
  2. Straight out of the Forges of Mordor. The Unicorn EB32G turbine housing.
  3. The 2002 turbo head is cast with 121TI. However, the combustion chambers are machined out into a hemispherical shape to lower the compression ratio. The exhaust manifold studs were made bigger and of better materials. If you can’t find an original you can always make a regular 121 or 121 TI head work by taking it by a machine shop specializing in aluminum heads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I will try and find an old email from last year I received from their warehouse in Germany. I was told that BMW waits until they have a particular number of orders for the EB32G before having them made. Typically 6 to 12 month wait time which considering how long we have been waiting on the new and improved version that’s a drop in the bucket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Thanks for the update, not sure how high it is on BMWs priority list. If I were to guess it’s rock bottom. At this point in the lifespan of the 02 turbo it hard for me to understand why BMW is trying to redesign the original turbo. Turbo technology to date and materials knowledge from 4 decades of commercial use can be drawn from. It would have been cheaper for us and them if they commissioned a production of 100 units. Right now we are looking at 8k per unit and the more r and d BMW puts into the new unit the higher the cost. We may be at a point of diminishing returns in my opinion. 8. Looking for a new right front wheel housing. Not interested in used sheet metal from a donor car. Condition doesn't have to be perfect since the entire car will be tanked before paintwork.
  9. Yes speaker connections and power connections. Essentially all the connections that plug into the back side of the radio. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  11. NOS, NLA and impossible to find New like this. These are priced at $225.00 each, shipping not included. Pulled from a time capsule locked away in a secret vault not located in my garage. Left side arm rest is part number 51411816281. The right side is 51411816298. The parts book says these will fit everything from a 1502 to a 2002 turbo. No chrome covers however, BMW still lists them as available. I ship UPS, FEDEX and USPS.
