  3. Thanks Andrew . I will do some research on the 123 ignition . Just spoke with Ireland engineering and the replacement part is in the mail free of charge , I must say they were great to deal with,
  4. Rob Siegel (the Hack Mechanic) helps me with my 72tii . I had the pleasure of his company this morning at my house in Dorchester MA. After a few minutes he diagnosed a no-spark condition that turned out to be caused by the electronic ignition in my Ireland distributor, which he recommend and installed a few weeks ago and I know he felt bad . So Rob being Rob wouldn't leave it for another day ( being Sunday and all ) .He drove back to his house at least a 40 min round trip , pulled the distributor out of his tii ,and put it into mine to be certain, and lone be hold the car started right up with his distributor. But while he was doing all this poking around with a voltmeter and checking for spark . He always showers and talks me through what he's doing it was like being back in school but this time I actually like the teacher. Any of you that know Rob Siegel also know that he's full of knowledge. I started to ask him how he knew so much about the 2002tii and to remember it all . That's when he said he has a new book coming out and its all about electrical systems and it describes in detail how to do everything he just did to my car . . I just thought you guys would want to know that . I know I can't wait for his new book . Thanks Dermot Fox Boston, MA
