  1. John, thank you, I will give it a try! Peter
  2. Gentlemen, more advice please! This is the only relay under dash on drivers side. I opened as recommended and only one set of points, that were working fine. When I unplugged I think the 49A terminal B light went out and directionals (exterior) still worked. But B did not blink. Is this the correct relay for my '71? The car is an early 1971, by archive March 1970. Could this be the right relay for an early 1971? Peter
  3. Mike, thank you so much for the detailed instructions, exactly what I needed! Peter
  4. Thanks John Actually when I first got it, (2 weeks ago), the light was only on intermittently, but never flashed in sync. Now on all the time. I will check out relay / unit. Thanks again, Peter
  5. Hi members I just acquired a great 71 Colorado. I have an issue that I was hoping you all can help with. The exterior directionals work fine and I hear the relay clicking, but the "B" on the dash is always on and does not blink. I saw a tech article that says that if the light does not come on, it could be a problem with one set of "points" in the relay and it could be adjusted. Could the opposite be true? Set of points dedicated to internal lights stuck on? Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance, Peter
  6. Thank you to all! This was extremely helpful. Forum is an incredible resource! Peter
  7. Thank you for the reply. How much (percentage) would you discount for a non-original engine in an otherwise nice driver?
  8. Hi, first time poster. I have owned a 73 2002 which had the VIN on the engine block. I looked at a 71 2002 (mid 1970 build). Looks like an early 2002 with no rubstrips etc. The engine block did not have the VIN but a bunch of other numbers and a "made in germany" stamp. Does this mean this is not original block? It's not that it is another VIN #, it's a bunch of numbers (small so hard to count) and "made inGermany". I like the car, just dont want to pay too much if this represents a "non-numbers matching" car. Thanks in advance for advice, Peter in NJ
  9. I am looking for a stock steering wheel (3 spoke) for my 73 Roundie. Thanks
