  1. here is another link to some 15 x 7s https://blog.catuned.com/catuned-patina-2002/ I asked these guys what offset the wheels are and they didnt know. If you are unsure, Have Corsa build you one wheel for fit check.
  2. Well I ordered and received the mini wheel. (about $50) Took some measurements. Realized after much searching that the cost of rebarreling these wheels was too expensive. At this time I found the guys at Corsa like others on this forum. They can make you pretty much whatever you want. Ive recently discussed a 15 x 7 setup with them and a backspacing around 5.125". May even see about 15 x 6.5 It has been stated many times that the optimal offset is ET25 for our cars for a 15 x 7 wheel. For me it just sticks out too far on the fronts. By at least 6mm. check this out: https://picclick.com/Custom-Two-Piece-Corsa-Gt-Steel-Wheels-Steelies-292786126517.html 5.125 inch backspacing AFAIK.
  3. are these sold? If not Ill take them
  4. I got my wiring diagram here: https://colorwiringdiagrams.com/t/bmw-cars Br, John
  5. Yes, I ordered one yesterday and found out today that they are "out of stock" I'll try another source. Once I get one I'll post a pic. (Imagine a group buy on banded steel mini wheels...)
  6. ok good to know. FWIW, I did install IE Fixed camber plates and they still stick out too much for my tastes.
  7. Thanks for the good info. I ordered up a wheel as they are like $40 to experiment with. I currently have on my car a set of Rota OS Mesh 15 x 7s with et 25. The so called consensus "best fit". For me they still stick out too much on the fronts. I really wish I would have ordered et35 and had the lattitude to space as needed. Is it crazy to think my current wheels - et25 - could have the centers be machined down 5mm? Once I get the steel wheel ill update on my progress. Thanks
  8. Currently on BAT there is an awesome 1970 1600 with S14 and 15" steel Mini wheels. From the discussion of this vehicle it has been determined that these steel wheels are 6.5 in width. The Mini wheel, p/n #36-11-6-768-497 painted silver and p/n # 36-11-1-511-414 painted black are 15 x 5.5 , Et45, 4×100 bolt pattern. So it appears the seller has widened the wheel by 1". I am not too familiar with widening wheels, so this is my question: When you widen a wheel does it have any impact on the offset? My thinking is that the widening section would be added to the wheel inboard of the bolt face. If this is the case, I would think that a spacer would be required to achieve the stance shown in the pics. Anyone got any thoughts on this?
  9. Looking for a rear seat. Color and cover condition not important as I will be recovering it. Dont want something that is total junk tho. Please include shipping to 47201. Thanks John
  10. Glad to hear you have it working now.
  11. Update: Problem solved. In my case my signal switch on the column was bad. This is what I did during this issue that may help someone. First, I purchased one of those laminated wiring diagrams. This really helped me "see" the circuitry. I highly recommend this. Second, I methodically cleaned and every ground location. Third, replaced all signal bulbs, even if they checked out ok. Fourth, I made a table on a sheet of paper and checked for voltage at each location on: The hazard switch, the relay, the main plug (white one in my case), instrument panel and the turn switch. This allowed me to record each leg of the circuit. Ultimately, the signal switch was the culprit. Mild Seven: I would check the relay based on your last post. You might try giving it a little tap with small wrench. Also the EL-13 relay mod might work for you.
  12. Ok cool. I will call you on Sat July 23 Thanks JSO5000
  13. Hello, Talked to you today. Thanks for your time. $300 shipped to 47201 is my offer. Contact me if you decide to accept. Br, John
