@guthrieb510 here are some pics of the adapters. They're simple flat steel. You can easily create a template. Inner dimension based on the mounting holes on the Procar seat, outer dimension based on the mounting holes for the width of the sliders mounted on the stock seat. 4 holes per side. Add captive nuts for the sliders. My schedule is pretty packed until early October otherwise I'd pull the seats and get measurements.
they're simple

Maybe @AceAndrew can, but Patrick build mine by hand based on measurements he probably scribbled on a post it note, not a CAD drawing. I'm also willing to bet he built the brackets based on a sketch he made with a sharpie on his welding table ?. He's old school.

@crowie sorry, I don't remember the brand that was shipped to me and I've already tossed the packaging the stuff came in. The brand name in the link is:
TECKWRAP 11.5" x 55" Chrome Mirror Silver Vinyl Wrap Adhesive Car Sticker Decal Film

Thanks all, sneakpeek picture added. ?

Ha! I think your build is a level or two higher than mine!

@TG2k2 Dynamat install posted in the blog.
@RichenFamous hope it works out for you and that the blog post helps out.
-
@jp5Touring It's a custom in-trunk filler that Patrick fabricated. It uses off the shelf parts from Summit Racing.
-
We're going for it, so fingers crossed. Regardless, I'll be there with a ton of parts to sell!
-
Thanks. I'm lucky, I've got a good teacher ?.
-
Sorry for leading you astray with the oscillating tool. I thought it worked well but maybe I had low expectations after reading some of the horror stories on here about removing that stuff.
@Mike G no worries. It worked out well. I really do think that it would have gone way quicker with the multi tool with the heat gun.
-
@jerryasi those are for my Viper car alarm and door locks.
And yes, we've installed the Dynamat but we have the front to still finish. Earlier this year Patrick cut out and replaced driver's side frame rail and both front floor boards due to rust. I'll need to go back in and finish the sound proofing up front now that the exterior paint is done. Then a new Etsy carpet kit gets installed on top.
-
@jerryasi nice work on the test stand! That's impressive. Sorry you're running into delays.
And thanks for the compliments.

@psky he knows he needs to finish up your car. I think you've been too easy on him and other things keep sneaking in front of you...like my car. Hahahaha.
-
@psky, you car just needs to be turned, man. What are you waiting for? Get on Patrick to finish up already ?
We'll be done putting mine back together fairly quickly. You better be done before me!

@Geoff Raynak hitting my own car is turning out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm addressing so many things that I think I would have just put off indefinitely. That is, as long as I don't add up all the receipts...
And yeah, the pics don't do the swatches justice. The right one has way more pop that the left in person. There's an Inka 02 in the garage I park in at work (that's a whole other story) and I stopped by today to check the swatches against it, and the right swatch was spot on.

@MattL still debating the wheel choices.
While I love those Miata wheels, I'm not sure the center bore hole will fit 02 hubs. I think I'd have to have them machined to open them up and they're already really expensive.
There are other options I'm exploring that I'll make a post on when I'm closer to that point in the build. Stay tuned.
-
And this is not the best part... 3 days later someone stole my Vanagon.
But that's another story for a different blog.

Oh, and if you find a set of those center caps let me know. I'd buy a set too.
-
Nope, mine are completely stock. Regarding center caps look for early Honda 6" caps like these:
I'm looking for a set but haven't been able to find them locally.
And the the green will grow on you if you decide to go that route. I couldn't imagine owning a different color now. Puts a smile on my face every time I look at it - along with most people I drive by. By far the most thumbs up car I've ever owned.
-
Score on the Corrado steelies! You're going to love them. I hope you go back to mintgrun too. Our cars would be twins.
My favorite find so far: classic Raid steering wheel and hub for $50.

All good in my end. That's the method I used for the rear seat area. Heat gun and scraper.
