  5. Year:: 1974 Make:: BMW Model:: 2002 Price:: 6900 Location: : Victoria BC Testing the waters with this listing. I have a 1974 BMW 2002 in Verona Red on Black interior. Great starter car in mostly original (or period correct) and complete state. This 2002 has quite the history with documentation and approximately $9500 in receipts over the years. Engine was rebuilt in mid 90's. Originally sold by Gerhard Motors in New Mexico. Early 90's car was in California and sold to an owner from Victoria. Car was owned by that owner for 23 years and was imported to Canada approximately 1996. It sat in storage from 2004 to 2014. 70k miles on the clock and documentation says it rolled over once. Car runs and drives. Recent tune up with new plugs, rotor, points. and cap. Have inspected the carb and is in good order. Carb is a REDLINE by Weber. Changed oil and filter. Changed coolant. Complete new front and rear breaks will be done as I ordered the parts and just waiting for them to arrive. Shock towers have ZERO rust. Seriously zero rust. Body is not perfect but very limited surface rust. Front air needs some work as well as some attention is needed with floor pans as they are original and show rust. Interior is in fair shape in my opinion. Dash was replaced at some point. Seats are black vinyl and in good shape. No major rips and pretty clean. Headliner has numerous holes but still tight against the roof. This is a great platform for someone who wants restore, or drive a bmw 2002 daily. Please send over any questions. Please seriously inquires only. I will not be giving this car away as I know how rare they are becoming and I always have a plan to bring it to its former greatness but budget and time restrains have different plans. I will entertain all reasonable offers. I will also try to shoot some new picutres on a sunny day but these ones are on my computer so here they are.
  6. How is the front nose? Rusty? Straight? How much. Cheers Peter
