  1. early single circuit brake calipers ! no one knows about those, just try finding a master cylinder, which i have suffered through. finally got help by calling Roger himself of Rogers Tii...he mus have connections ATE. also you might try Jamic.com, they have some hard to find stuff... in England but shipping is quick.
  2. thanks guys for the info on the 242/245 issue... i'm only looking for the "pin" that the throw-out bearing lever pivots on, and the small plugs that close off holes in the case. understanding which trans that i have will make things much easier to find in the ETK.
  3. i have a getrag 5 speed trans. how can i determine if nit is a 245 or 242 ? i need to order parts and need know to do that. it does have the added 69mm section to fifth gear overdrive. also there is a threaded bore on the top of the main case, not the vent, my guess is it is for then back-up light switch, is that correct ? thanks in advance... Will That email address IS MINE ! the other member is me...
  4. the VW rubber brake pipe grommets fit the one existing hole, by the way.
  5. i see you had to abandon the single piston caliper system, i'm in the same boat now. so, how did you run the second brake pipe and hose to the caliper ? i was thinking of opening a new hole in the inner fender, mounting the previously mentioned bracket on the body bracket where the long single hose joined the brake pipe and running two long hoses to the caliper just the way the old single hose was...?
  6. thank you but i already got one
