MANY thanks. I pulled the intake mainfold off and took a ruler to it; lo and behold, the ruler
rocked off the plane when on runner # four. I did this before reading your advice. Ain't I
somewhat smart? I guess when the PO of the manifold said he had it planed, that should
have been ground zero.
And the gaskets do seem to only go on one way, unless the installer cannot see the
big E on the eye chart. Thanks again.
