  2. I actually already had Bilstein HDs in the car. I had the front suspension done with stock bushings and earlier and that helped the steering etc. The rear was redone awhile ago and is good. I don't really need the upgraded sways, it handles so much better than before...and I'll never do Recaros or anything like that. Stock all the way for my car. at least I can fit it in the garage now... lol
  3. FIXED Bilstein HDs front and rear spacers removed HandR Sport springs installed I think the car actually rides smoother than stock with the HandR springs. Amazing ride, not harsh in any way, and corners about 100% better. Awesome. thanks everyone for the input
  4. If he didn't take drivers' frame rail, I will. I'm in NJ
  5. Looks like you got a super nice car. Best colors, but I am biased.
  6. Not sure, I just replaced all the bushings, mounts, and pads in mine before I ordered. Glad you got them!
  7. I think the car would rust out before I made the shore...
  8. Just ordered mine this morning thanks to @chago997. I had ordered them three times from places in the USA who said they had them in stock, only to find out they were drop shipping and actually did not have them at all the whole time
  9. https://www.bilstein-shocks.co.uk/products/34-000236 Out of stock everywhere in the USA price is competitive even with shipping I would hurry, I just ordered mine
  10. Congrats on the purchase. I have never seen another Ets. Moorkens car in person, hopefully we can park next to each other someday!
  11. Chatted with Bilstein UK this morning, they said yes confirmed they have them in stock. Ordered them to have them shipped to NJ Super helpful, looking forward to it!!! Thanks so much I also ordered them from a place in USA who said they have them, although they are a drop-ship company and I doubt they will ever come. If they DO, I will offer them for sale on 2002faq most likely Now have to order the HandR springs
  12. Checked last night, and yes, springs were installed correctly, thanks
  13. I will literally order tonight, but just wondering if the site is legit? I guess it is if you received them?
  14. Trust me, I was ribbed endlessly about my 4wd Tii so you wouldn't have been the first
  15. Will double check but they were installed by a great shop GutenParts
  16. These are the "HD equivalent" now right? Did you ship to usa?
  17. It's completely possible. The springs were "used Korman springs, 1/2" drop; they were marked very clearly but it is possible the seller mixed up front and rear. The longer springs were installed in front as marked, should it be other way around?
  18. What shocks did you use with the V springs?
  19. So it looks like the best choice might be Koni+HandR+IE big sway bars?.....since the Billy HDs are not available...
  20. I called them too. This is what I got: "Currently all front shocks are on back-order in the US and Germany. Production is expected on some of the available part numbers but they could not give me a timeline on when. "
  21. I'm sure they are good, but I think you have to cut metal and use camber plates etc. This isn't the car I am going to do that to..
  22. If only I could find a used set of Bilstein HDs...
  23. Hello all I had some used "Korman 1/2 drop" springs installed before The Vintage, and as some of you saw, they were obviously NOT the correct springs. The front end sat way way too high. "I didn't know they made AWD 2002Tii?" "How do you get it in the garage?" ...and other choice comments. So I have given up, no more used mystery springs. I know the hot setup for a street-driven 2002 which might do an occasional easy autox is HandR sport springs with Bilstein HDs. I also know Bilstein HDs are NLA or out of stock for the past two years with no current arrival time. SO: What do I go with instead? https://www.koni-na.com/en-US/NorthAmerica/Products/Cars/1145-Sport-Kit-(Yellow)/ Koni sports with Eibach springs? Koni Sports with HandR springs? Something else I am not familiar with? Please don't tell me "custom coil overs for $3500" or stay with stock suspension. I want the car 1/2-1.25" lower, slightly stiffer, and better handling. The bushings are all new stock. Thanks for your help Brian and "Gerta"
