  6. Hey guys, so starting yesterday a bizzare noise just happened when I was driving, it is very nasty sounding and does not sound good at all. It sounds like it is coming from the rear passenger side and more particularly the wheel or something around it. It almost sounds like if I took a rock and threw it in my wheel well while going 45 mph and let it bounce around in there, or something along the lines of that. I have just adjusted the emergency handbrake and discovered that the drivers side cable is the only one that can be adjusted, and the passenger side cable, which I assume goes to the rear passenger side drum, appears to be broken or loose. I took the car right home after hearing these noises and too an empty parking lot across the street from my house to test and the noise is very random, but does happen when I brake sometimes. Not sure what this could be at all, I just got new calipers, rotars and pads btw as well as a new brake master cylinder.
  7. so last night when i parked my car i engaged the e brake like any other time i would and it seemed a little tighter to pull up than usual. this morning when i went to drive my 02 i started it and disengaged it normally. i got to school and parked my car, but when i went to engage my e brake it didn't do anything and my car would roll. i simply parked in a spot where i could back up the car so the wheels are touching the curb so it would not roll. im going to put the car out of commision until this is fixed but i feel like it is a pretty easy task. what would be the difficulty of fixing this myself and what could have went wrong? just an adjustment or is there a possibility that i acctually broke something? i dont abuse the e brake or pull it hard so i dont think i would have broke anything. thanks!
