  1. I am parting with this vintage black, leather wrapped steering wheel. There is no indication of which brand, but "Made in Italy" and "7/79" are stamped on the back. On the front side there is a small sticker which reads "BMW Motor Sport", which may or may not be original, and a stamping reading "E 10733." The wheel measures 35 cm (13.78 inches). The leather shows signs of age but the stitching is secure and it is in good condition overall. Steering wheel only, hub and horn button are not included. $100 plus shipping.
  2. Hey there everyone. I'm sure some of you are watching the 1967 2000 tilux on Bring a Trailer but I thought I'd pass along the link, just in case: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-bmw-2000-tilux-sedan/ I posted a comment suggesting that the auction winner participate here on the FAQ. Brian

  4. It is indeed a good deal but keep in mind that these appear to be from an E34 and are five lug. Brian
  5. I wouldn’t hesitate to call North Bay Bavarian in Santa Rosa. They have loads of experience with all BMWs, old and new, including our 2002s. Honest, professional and friendly too. Their number is 707-545-0820. Brian
  6. I went to Phaedrus for several years when I lived in the city. They are very professional. You might consider a drive to Santa Rosa for North Bay Bavarian. I can’t say enough about their expertise and honesty.
  7. You and me both, Ed! I had to dash to the garage to ensure mine was still where I left it. Hopefully those bottle caps will be replaced by the next owner. The car has some needs but seems in reasonable shape. It would be great if the new owner participates here.
  8. This just popped up on Bring a Trailer this morning: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-bmw-2000-neue-klasse/ Should be fun to watch! Brian
  9. I agree, Ed. The headers definitely look like Alpina's bundle (or basket or bag) of snakes!
  10. Three cheers for anything related to Hubert Hahne.
  11. Like some others here, I have E21 Recaros from Aardvarc Racing. I love them.
  12. Ah, so good to see pictures of the engine original to my NK! Good luck with the sale, Patrick. I hope the buyer stays in touch because I'd like to keep tabs on its whereabouts. Brian
