3. Hi there, I am in the market for an Ansa exhaust center and rear, for a 76 BMW 2002. Thanks Charlie
4. Ireland Engineering Street/Race Step Header. Bought in 2005, low mileage, surface rust but no holes and structurally perfect. Just needs hi temp paint. $200 OBO
5. Free rusty gas tank for earlier 2002's. Would definitely need some Evapo-rust, or even some por-15 or kbs gas tank paint. No sending unit. Make sure the corner by the filler neck matches your car's cutout, see picture. It will be either a 90 degree turn or two 45 degree turns. This one is a 90 degree. Just pay for shipping costs.
6. The M10 2.0 liter in bmw 76 2002 is toast, and I am in need of a longblock. Let me know if you have anything, or can point me in the right direction of someone who does. I don't have a ton of money, so dropping a ton of money on a rebuild right now is probably out of the question. I am in Colorado. Thanks for the help, Charlie

9. 1976 BMW 2002 for sale with all the good mods you want completed. I have owned the car for 10 years and have saved every receipt, totaling well over $10,000 in parts and repairs. The paint is a two tone with two BMW colors. Pastellblau on top and Alpina White on the bottom. The condition of the car is drivable, but not showroom complete. The body has had the rust cut out and bondoed, with primer on top. It still needs the final coat of paint. It's up to you what color you'd like to paint it. Needs carpet, and the seats have some tears. Most of the electrical components work, except for the odometer, gauge back lighting, and cigarette lighter. The odometer has been stuck at 68,000 since I purchased the car, so the mileage is unknown, I would guess approximately 80-100K from what the previous owner told me. Below is a list of mods on the car. -320i 5 speed conversion, with new seals, lightened flywheel, clutch, and clutch components. -IE short shifter -2" Magnaflo muffler with IE header -Lynx single sidedraft manifold with DCOE -45 Weber knock off -MSD hot electronic ignition from Top End Performance -Electric Fuel Pump -New battery and alternator -New thermostat -New valve gasket, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, etc. Head gasket is still good. -Alpine head unit, with 4 alpine speakers. -New floorboards and frame rails -All new IE polyurethane suspension bushings from and rear -IE Shock tower brace -IE stage two lowering springs with Bilstein HD shocks front and rear -22mm front and 19mm rear sway bars from Addco -IE turbo fenders and front spoiler -Nardi Steering wheel -320i turbine wheels, with an extra set of 320i steelies Things I didn't get too that I would recommend replacing. -front passenger side brake caliper, as the current one has a small leak in one of the seals. -new steering box, as there is a little play. Great car that just needs a little love. Hope she goes to a good home. I am testing the waters out. Pictures to come. Best offer. Location: Central NJ
Year: 1976
Make: BMW
Model: 2002
11. Now for the changing it to a 75 idea...won't the VIN number show the year? Maybe I'm missing something.
12. Thanks a bunch guys! Awesome help. It's lookin like I'll just keep NJ historic plates on it until I NEED to change it.
13. How's it going guys. Just wondering if anyone knows what it takes to pass California inspection for a daily driven 1976 2002. I currently have the car registered in NJ with historic plates so I've never had to get it inspected. I'm thinking to have it be my daily driver in CA. It currently has an IE header, lynx manifold with a DCOE 45. No front or rear bumpers. And a straight pipe to a magnaflo muffler, although I do have a resonator I could throw in. Will CA require me to basically bring my car back to stock if I want to have it pass as a daily driver with daily drivers insurance...or do you guys recommend I just keep it as a historic and drive it only occasionally. I love to hear anyone's thoughts or other ideas. Thanks guys, Charlie
