This here is a nice working, looking BMW 320i Car Stereo. This model as you can see, is digital. In all my years of collecting / selling BMW parts, I've never ran by another BMW car stereo that looked like this one. It's circa 1982 / 1983.
I believe the manufacturer of this one is Motorola(?). The stamped ID plate on-top of the unit, is the only sort of ID I can find on this unit. That is, aside from the stick on the side of it which reads "BMW TEC1".
The unit features separate bass an treble controls as well as auto-reverse. The unit features an attractive / low profile red display and adjustable tuning "shafts", too. Interestingly enough, I end that the knobs used on this radio, look identical to those of the same era Blaupunkt's.
The previous owner cut the antenna cable in half, but I have since re-soldered it back together and it picks up stations just fine. I have not tried the tape portion though, mainly because I don't have any cassettes. That said, I can't vouch for the tape portion. "????"
I'd like to get $80.00 for this + shipping. OBO. Am also willing to trade for bits that I need.
Thanks,
