    HI all so i took my heater box out because my leg vents would not close. So i fixed it and am putting it back in. What should i use, if anything, to seal the heater box in place. double tape? silicone calking? also i think my water valve is leaking. does anyone have one that that is in good shape? new ones are 318$! thanks vlad

    Great job and really helpful 'how to'. I will be installing mine sometime this month. but i need a new lockstrip and I checked blunt and ireland and couldnt find it. If you know where it would be great if you could direct me to it. Thanks. Vlad.

    Thanks for all the info. It was my fault, spaced out and rear ended someone. I got regular geico insurance. It is a clean title. I have receipts worth of close to 6k thats without the engine and transmission rebuilt. Some parts are not installed yet because the car just came out of a paint shop (headliner, a door handle and mirror, small stuff). Insurance took the car to a shop and estimated the value to be 3500. I emailed them links of other cars on action, about same condition as mine, with the ACV (insurance estimate of that car) value of 8k to 12k. Plus all the receipts. Just got to hope for the best. it was my fault after all. here is a car before the wreck.

    Hi guys. I have a 1974 02. I had an accident recently and insurance is paying me for the car. I had recently had a new paint job, 5 speed conversion, rebuilt engine, new carpet, seats, headliner. Minimal or no rust ( and i am not just saying that so i could sell the car) Well the insurance is offering me $3.500. Should i settle for that price or can i get more out of it. Are there any sites where i can get an estimate of the value of my car so i can prove that it is worth more? thanks vlad.
