  1. Jan 18, LA. Anyone here own these? Photos by my stepson.
  2. Interesting theory on preserving the block for future overbores. I can see the point. But on the other hand by the time this block needs another rebuild we will all be dead and it will probably be illegal to even own an internal combustion engine. Anyway that is what I told Vince over a beer on Saturday. I am the guy who Vince Generously but erroneously called the “guru” who is helping with this project I am no guru but I have been racing and rebuilding these engines for 30 years Lots of mistakes were made and I am still learning from the advice here Paul
  3. you can see in the photo the block on the left has the main bearing caps. I'd need to go look to be 100% sure, but I am 99.9% sure they are present on all. There's no reason I would discard them, and I would have put them back in place for safekeeping after I removed the crankshaft.
  4. UPDATE and Price reduction I am losing some of my storage space at end of December. I'd rather sell this stuff cheaply than find somewhere else to store it, or send it to the scrap yard. I will sell separate packages, again for pickup only. Photo 1 - suspension, driveshafts, subframes, differentials, etc: $300 for all Photo 2 - engine blocks: $50 each, $200 for all 5 photo 3 - flywheels and pressure plates - $200 for all photo 4 - starters and alternators - $200 for all $600 for EVERYTHING
  5. Large collection of big and heavy parts. Everything in the photos. Engine blocks, suspension, driveshafts, starters, alternators, differentials, flywheels, pressure plates, etc. Pick up in Garwood NJ. I am losing some of my storage space at end of December. 6. Be very careful about rounding off the internal hex on the screws, aka the Allen head. Clean them out first and make sure you have a good tight fit with the wrench or key fully seated. Otherwise you will be trying to turn them with vice grips or cutting the heads off.
  7. Nice group of cars and people! an even dozen 2002’s round taillights, square taillights, carbs, tii’s, an S14, and a 6 cylinder. Plus a targa.
  8. On my Sunday morning drives I usually prefer to head away from the City - not right into it! But I think I will give it a try, looking forward to meeting you all. Paul
  9. 1602 race car spotted by my stepson on August 25 on a freeway somewhere outside of LA

Hello all. It looks like I have three of you showing interest in the past few days I believe EMJ was the first one to contact me this month. So he is first in line. Sorry if I misled anyone else. I was not paying close enough attention to who was asking about it. Paul
