  1. After looking into this a bit more it looks like i can buy a brad new 320i radiator for $75 and install it with some minor bracket modifications and a new coolent pipe for the bottom connector.
  2. Hi, I am looking for a working radiator for a 1974 BMW 2002 standard model 4 speed manual. Used is fine but needs to be in working condition with no leaks. The last radiator repair shop I called wanted $175 to "clean" it and $475 to put in a new 3 core. I thought this was pretty ridiculous considering I can buy a brand new aluminum radiator from Ireland Engineering for $325. Anyway let me know if anyone has something they are willing to sell. Thank you, -Clay
  3. I found this posted in another forum: "the 74-76 tank has a corner reduction near the tail lite for the bumper shock. the newer tanks go into the older cars but the older tanks don' fit the later cars. " so it looks like the 71 tank wont work for my 74, bummer.
  4. Hi Everyone, I am looking for a clean gas tank and working fuel sender for a 1974 BMW 2002. I live near Sacramento, CA. If nearby I can pick up but if not it will need to be shipped. Please open with an offer for one or the other or both shipped. Thanks! -Clay
  5. 1974 BMW 2002 $1500 This is a 4 speed manual. Everything on the car is stock except for the headers. This car has been in my family since it was purchased in 1975. It currently runs and is drivable. The title is clean and I have the pink slip. Extensive maintenance records have been kept. There is a collection of spare parts that I will include in the purchase such as a second carburetor, spare rim, ect. The price is firm; please contact me only if you are serious, thank you. 530-570-0822, steppen@gmail.com
  6. This is not a part car! The car is in good mechanical condition, runs and idles fine, its has many cosmetic problems. It has good tires with reconditioned rims, rebuilt engine 60,000 miles ago, rebuilt transmission 5,000 miles ago, replaced clutch 5,000 miles ago, no leaks in the hydraulic brake/clutch system. Has rust in running boards pretty bad, and small spots in other places, the interior is is good shape, dash in good shape, missing some things from the center console, carpet in need of replacing but usable. I have the pink slip. If you are interested I can answer any of your questions. You can reach me at: steppen@gmail.com I know these cars go for a wide range, anywhere from $750 as scrap to over $10,000 fully reconditioned. Most of the time they go between $2500 and $4500 if they are in good condition for a restore and not to be used as parts. I would like to get $2200 out of mine. Iv worked on it my entire life and I know it would be a good base for a rebuild. Photobucket Link: http://s1139.photobucket.com/albums/n549/SteppenRzr/
