  1. Is there a notch on the CAM flange? Are #1 rockers loose? Is rotor tip under #1 plug wire? Is that the original pulley? Is there OT on flywheel visible through hole?
  2. Try some quick start spray to see if it kicks.
  3. I got some at local bearing/oring shop. Take the old one on. Or I can mail you one. I had to buy a package.
  4. Make sure oil pocket is full when bleeding.
  5. New or used, the tensioner should be properly bled. Are you using a step, or go - no go feeler gauge?
  6. I think the 02 blue manual is available on here. That gives you quite a bit.
  7. Did you bleed the tensioner piston? Are you double checking gap after tightening rocker nut?
  8. Decking the block essentially has the same effect as shaving head. I use 1.8 gasket more to deal with fuel octane on 121 head.
  9. Not clear whether you rebuilt. Or cleaned all jets and passages with carb spray....
  10. Like Toby says. Home depot or Lowes. One hole, use rivet. Come in black. Save your talents for something else.
  11. Google Continental brake hose. Maybe big box auto stores. Dealer in a pinch. Easier to put elbows in new hose, wiggle elbows into master, attach hose to res. Put some brake fluid in hose end.
  12. You need to bleed the whole system. Do you have the correct order? How old are brake hoses? May be a bit late, but it may be easier to replace hoses from res to cyl in order to get elbows installed.
  13. Underside was a big question mark. Lack of photos didn't help. Or wouldnt have helped. Might be a steal, or might need serious resto. Still, if it drives...... Have to wonder why he only went 500 miles and then offloaded.
  14. What did you do to prep the gas tank? That vac hose from intake past booster looks pretty scuzy - cracks? I'd add another clamp.
  15. Must be quite the lawn mover.
  16. Your driving lights are basically the same as older high beam lights, which used to be 55W. On coming drivers objected back then, and they will now. Low beams have a distinct cutoff to prevent dazzle. Hence our pretty much unanimous suggestion that you at least wire them independently, but not with low beams.
  17. Per Toby, do proper , solid connection on that red wire. Any other connections like that? Are you sure rotor tip was set at tdc firing stroke? Is main coil wire seated?
  18. How does one bore a tapered hole?
  19. Just to reiterate - if those flex lines are original, you would be wise to replace them all (clutch too) now.
  20. Plastic sleeve on sender outlet pipe - check for cracks
  21. Realoem would supply numbers.
  22. I guess there some risk that the tires could move a bit. All bolted/nailed together looks solid, but I take your point. Maybe revisit tire securing wedges and give it the push test. Or double up the 4x4s? Not much different from the metal drive on ramps..... That said, I prefer jack stands with a U shaped saddle to grab the frame rails and rear cross member. Don't like those ones under front cross member. Like harbor frt 3 ton Stands
