  1. When i took off my lower radiator hose, There was quite a bit of air trapped. This is probably because the front of the car is sitting 4 inches lower in the front than rear right now! I'll level the car off, bleed some air and give it another go. Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone, I just replaced my water pump and swapped intake manifolds. Everything is back together, and the engine starts and runs great, however, no coolant seems to be circulating. I started my engine and assumed that once the thermostat opened coolant would begin to circulate. My radiator is full, and i partially filled one of the upper hoses. Do i need to prime the waterpump or something? Or is this perhaps a bad thermostat? Thanks! Nick
  3. Hi there, i have a question about the hoses that run into the intake manifold. I would like to re-route them as to skip the manifold entirely. So here it is: 1.Can I run the hose that exits from under intake valve four into the back of the y-pipe on the head? 2. Can I run the hose from the heater core directly back to the the L-Bend on the waterpump? Has anyone else done this? Any suggestions? Thanks!
  4. I have 2.5 in springs, and those kmacs look like what i need. Thanks gents!
  5. Hi there, Because of clearance issues, i need to run more caster on my 68 1602, as well as more camber. Usually a good set of camber plates will allow you to adjust both, but on IE's website it shows the plates as camber adjustable only. So i ask you this: any one have a good solution to significantly adjust caster? Surely the racers have to be into this. Thanks! Nick
  6. I have an e21 m10 on the way. Not sure if it has a distributor or not, but it should show up on the 16th and i'll know then. Anyone have a a good, cheap dist for sale in case it shows up with out it? Thanks, Nick nelane @ cocc.edu
  7. Thanks everyone! hopefully i can get this thing in oregon soon
  8. Hey everyone, Im looking to get an engine shipped from Texas to Oregon. Im sure many of you have had to deal with this before; whats the best way to do this? The engine is on a pallet, and ready to be picked up. Anyone have any experience, or know of a company i could try? Thanks, Nick
  9. Since my rebuilt engine is failing after 10k miles... In the market for something new! 1.Anyone have either a running m10 (no accessories required)? or 2.A block with pistons that i can throw my head and pan on and drive? Looking for something in the PNW or Norcal. I might consider shipping if it's not too outrageous. nelane @ cocc.edu Thanks, Nick
  10. Anyone have a good source for 1602 Rotors? Ireland only has 2002 stuff and i cant seem to find any performance oriented discs anywhere. Id be most interested in cross-drilled or vented. Thanks! Nick
  11. Actually, now i have a second question. Are the front 1602 hubs different from the 2002 hubs? TobyB mentions hitting them with a 3lb hammer, but that doesent seem possible with my 1602 hubs. Even if i get the studs loose, they still back into metal and cant be removed. Anyone have any 1602 specific experience? Nick
  12. Anyone have a good source for longer wheel studs? Id like to get them as long as possible, and i need them to run my spacers. Also, Does anyone have any good tricks to get the old studs out? Seems like they are gonna be tough to get out after 40 years. Thanks! Nick
  13. Any info on the wiring? Seems like its should be pretty easy with only 3 wires.
  14. Pretty sure. Me and a friend checked everything else. The reason i think the switch is broken is because one of the wires has power coming in, But theres no power going out on any of the other wires. I think that this means the headlights are getting no power from the switch?
  15. Sure, that'd probably help. It's a 69 with the 6 fuses. Thanks!
  16. If so, howd you do it? Im looking to install one like the pic below, but im not sure if its even possible to wire the stalk mounted switch into the floor mounted. Heres what im workin with:
  17. Hmm okay. So this floor switch is self grounding then? Because isnt the fourth wire on the stalk switch a ground? I was also not sure if i would lose my running lights because of this.
  18. Okay, so how would i wire my four wire stalk into this? All of the floor mounted switches i can find locally have three connectors on the back.
  19. Quick question. My headlight hi/lo beam stalk switch broke on my 68, but i can get one locally off of a squarie. Even though the later one has 6 wires running to it as opposed to my 4 wire switch, can i still use it? Or is it completely different? Thanks!
  20. Still looking for one, new or used, preferably in the US unless shipping isnt horrible. Thanks!
  21. Im still in need. nelane @ cocc .edu Thanks!
  22. Bump! I still need one of theses suckers! Anyone?
