  1. I have an AEM in my 2002 and my C10. Both working like a charm for years now. You have your choice of gauge: digital or analog, and multiple gauge rings too.
  2. So, me, my wife and the 2002 have relocated to TX. Prior to leaving, Midnight Motorsport built a new custom 2.5” exhaust with an Ireland long tube header. The old exhaust hung WAY too low and would have gotten hung up on the transporter.
  3. Our first time! My wife and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one!
  4. The 02 and my C10 have arrived! Happy to have them with us again.
  5. We are trying to stay in Round Rock or Pflugerville. Those are most convenient to my office and for heading down to SA to see my mom on a regular basis. We're considering Manor too, but....meh... Part of me thinks I should have just kept my house when I moved up here. But then it only had a tiny one car garage and was only 2 bedroom. But I could have sold it for a mint and we could have bought something else. Oh well....c'est la vie.
  6. That sounds like a good time for sure. Once again, if we can swing it, we will. First priority once we get there is finding a house, so weekends might be a little tight. Also, days off are at premium for my wife. Maybe we can make Saturday's fun. But we might have to wait until fall. Hopefully things will have settled down by then.
  7. We were at the shop late Saturday night while Patrick was simultaneously installing audio in our Forester and diagnosing your car. I’m glad it was a part failure...
  8. Ed, we will give it serious thought. My wife’s company isn’t exactly generous with the vacation time, and we already have a 10-day trip already planned. But maybe. Not ruling it out.
  9. I don't think the $850 wheel would feel $505 better in my hands than the $345 wheel.
  10. Oh yeah, time line. We should be there around the first weekend of March. Our 2002 and C10 pickup are being delivered between March 12-14. So....if all goes well, we can be at the C&C for March. Lunches...another matter. Stupid job.
  11. I stayed at The Jupiter once. Really cool Mid-Century vibe. Live music venue and bar and restaurant on property too. The restaurant was really good.
  12. Thanks, everyone. We are temporarily staying in an apartment in Pflugerville while we search for a house to buy.
  13. OK, that did it! I primarily use Tapatalk to access the site, and I never did see the Join Club button. I went in today via the web and took care of all that. Thank you!
  14. Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I am headed (back) to Texas after 9 years in the Pacific Northwest. Moving to be closer to my mom, who is all alone down there. My wife and I will be living in the Austin area, and we are having our 2002 and our Chevy C10 p/u shipped to us. Looking forward to getting out and making some new friends!
  15. I have a used E21 radiator that I pulled from my car for an aluminum radiator. I am moving and I don't have room for it. FREE FOR THE TAKING. Oh yeah, I have a used ceramic coated header off my car. It hung way to low for me since my car is very low. But for a stock or nearly stock car, it would be fine. $50 obo
  16. I used to be able to post in the regional groups, but cannot anymore. But then I have missed lots of memos, so it might be me. [emoji51]
  17. I do believe I might have a couple ceramic coated headers. One new, one used. Also I have a 320i radiator that I will bring out. Free for the taking. It’s used, but working great when I pulled it for a shiny aluminum one.
  18. Guess I should bring out my 320i radiator! Free to a good home...
  19. There is an AGM Miata battery that fits (barely) under the stock back seat. Tom at 02 Again was working on it a while back, and I have one of his early kits. It’s something a person with decent fabrication skills could replicate. I keep my road emergency kits up where the battery would sit in the trunk. That keeps them out of the way for actual luggage.
  20. I didn't even read this whole discussion. I just read the first post then started my reply. I have said it before and I will say it here again. I chased cooling problems and replaced all sorts of parts. The issue never went away until I replaced the radiator. Since then, zero problems. Usually I advocate starting cheap and easy, but in reality, I have always come to suspect the radiator unless it is a known quantity.
  21. A little foggy, but the colors up here in the northwest were still vibrant!
  22. Can't wait to visit the booth again this year. Visiting again from the great northwest!
  23. This time next year, I will probably be back in Austin. I can't wait to join you all. Although I will really miss the PNW, family is bringing me back.
