  1. For sale is a pair of Scheels- no stories, no excuses. Local pickup only please. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161233154524?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 These were recovered by the infamous Al Canuck. Yes, I actually got them and yes, they're very well done. They include one tilting base and one set of black powder coated adaptor plates for mounting to BMW 2002 seat rails. Thanks for viewing! Location: Encinitas, CA
  2. I'd suggest nothing at all if you're trying to sell. Some might think you're hiding rust. If you must spray, I suggest Wurth.
  3. +1 for Jim's in San Diego. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
  4. I have Carl's five-speed conversion and am quite happy. He stands behind his components. Does your boneyard? When things need adjustment, it's not a question. Also, note Carl used to relocate the mounting tabs by removing and re-welding them to the new position on the tunnel- a much better solution than brackets and thingamabobs from a simple leverage point of view. Just my $0.02, but I am pleased with their work five years later.
  5. Just caught this- congratulations Ray! Your car is always in super shape and a goal to aspire to. glenn in encinitas
  6. It has been a while- Maybe a Point Loma cruise? Did one back in 2002 with a group of San Diego 2002's and had a great time. Lunch at Hodad's or somewhere in OB?
  7. Sounds like the path I took: 74tii, cleaned up with as many new parts as I could, including a new interior with euro dash, bumper conversion, etc. I also find the square light, small bumper combo to be the bomb! My only difference in approach was a color change. It worked out, but I was lucky.
